"People who worship an angry, controlling, legalistic god themselves become angry, controlling and legalistic." As an ex muslim, especially, I can so relate to that. We often don't hear enough about the love of God, which is why I feel that hearing more about such heavenly and ND experiences is so valuable, healing, edifying and encouraging! It's just like with kids... it takes a great amount od positive reinforcement to overcome or balance out the hurt caused by even little dose of negative reinforcement. What Alwyn discerned in Genesis about God not cursing us as His children and imagers is so liberating and powerful!!! I have witnessed the Love of God to many Muslim people, Bronze, and that is the greatest differentiator between the God of Jesus Christ from all other religions - not only that God loves us, but that Love is the very personhood of God.

While I hear multitudes are receiving visions of Christ around the islamic world and surrendering to Him through supernatural means, I do wonder how they receive your testimony of God's love for them as a basis for belief in Jesus. Certainly, there is no place or person that the Holy Spirit can't reach, but in my experience, the concept of God's primary attribute being love is so alien to the typical muslim mind that it is unable to be comprehended or appreciated (unless it's received by a Muslim in desperate or dire straights). Power is what is respected, not love. God is to be revered on the precept that he is to be feared. I'm sure you're aware of the fact that Islamic tradition teaches that the Bible and true identity/nature of Jesus (as merely a human prophet) was "corrupted". Therefore, nothing that the Bible teaches is trustworthy (despite Muhammad's reliance on it to give himself credibility). So, the notion of God forgiving sins and rewarding you with salvation simply for professing faith in Jesus is dismissed as being way too easy and is, in fact, ridiculed. Forgiveness and salvation must be earned (though still not guaranteed). Muslims all hope for a "free pass", but ironically, they can't accept salvation as a "free gift" of grace and love because in Islam (and all other religions apart from Christianity), the onus lies on the muslim to "work", "suffer" and "sacrifice" in order to earn entry into heaven. The idea of the God being the one to "work", "suffer" and "sacrifice" on man's behalf is ludicrous blasphemy for the muslim. Allah would never condescend to entering into His creation and walking alongside His lowly subjects. My husband's family disowned upon learning of our apostasy and my family refuses to even ask or hear about our testimony. For Muslims, the love shown by a Christian is never attributed to the overflowing love of Christ in them. Possibly because relatively few Christian are equipped or comfortable sharing the Gospel, especially in our current sociopolitical environment. So, I praise the Lord for His supernatural interventions of love! If you can, please do pray from my Muslim family that their spiritual eyes, hearts and minds will be opened to the peace, joy and love that is found only in Jesus Christ! Hi, the love of God does not penetrate a heart till they understand that we do deserve hell,yet God wanted to let the guilty go free. That is not harsh it is the gospel. When man is convinced that he is a sinner, then he will seek for a Saviour. During the times of discouragement or doubtful of God's love for them, have them taught scriptures, like, I will never leave you or forsake you. I will not shame, criticize or condemn you. He Who has begun a good work in you will continue that work until the day of salvation. Can you see that these scriptures edify,encourages and strengthen their faith. Telling them God loves you is weak bc they haven't known faithfulness to who they are.

A set of rules to live by makes one selfrightous if they think they aren't breaking the rules. We are in the New Covenant of grace. We know how unrighteous we are and only the blood of Jesus declares us righteous. Legalism breeds pride. Grace breeds humility.
This is true. I was shocked years ago when my oldest sister said something about God that I didn't understand. Turned out that she looks at God as controlling, angry and ready to pounce. I don't believe that she got this from our parents because seeing God in that light is so wrong. She is extremely legalistic. One of my granddaughters is what we used to call illagitament and my sister will have nothing to do with her. Thank God her parents believe that abortion is murder.

Hi there Nicky, going through discomfort is bad enough when it's temporary, but chronic illness doesn't let up. Nicky, you spoke about feeling heat in your chest and abdomen. I was in a ministry that ppl would experience different kinds of feelings. I did a research on the Kundalini spirit and discovered i was involved with false teachings. I didn't want experiences, I wanted Jesus Christ and I wanted Him to work IN my inner man. I hope you understand where I'm going. I hope you begin to test everything taught, what is manifested, visions ppl have and prophecies. They should all line up with the written word of God.
So disappointing that taking time to read and study scriptures for yourself is neglected. Does scriptures teach us to expect visits to heaven? Answer the question with scripture and not opinions or reading scriptures in context. How many throughout the old and new testament have been to heaven and back again. What was the purpose God had for this unusual experience? Are you good at critiquing what you hear and go test it out and see if it's in agreement with the written word of God? Are you quick to defend a minister before you test his teachings? Are you aware that it is a warning of Jesus that many wolves will arise and infilter the churches to deceived them? If you are carried away with personality and charisma more than of Truth, you need to step back so you can judge your own heart.

God does Love everyone equally and will always go after the lost. That homeless person you see on the street is just as loved by God as you. Their journey in this world is just deferent than yours. The body of Christ is broken hearted because hell is constantly thrown in their face. They feel like they have to earn His love and heaven by what they do. That takes away from the cross and His grace and mercy. His love is so great He forgave those that put Him on the cross while He was hanging on the cross. ❤️💕♥️
Yes I relate to this so much. I felt like I couldn’t ever measure up and pulled away from the Lord. Then he Pursued me showed me he had forgiven me for ALL SIN and He loved me. Seeing myself completely forgiven really helped me see He loved me unconditionally. It changed me. I can quickly fall back into that torture when I focus on myself and not the beautiful on Jesus Christ who gave everything to save me🥲
Hi,God does love, but God has enemies that shake their fists at God and despise God. God wishes that none would perish, but that ALL would come to repentance. God will judge nations as well as individuals. God can't let the guilty go free. Love couldn't save us. It had to be an exceptable sacrifice for sin. God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world thru Jesus Christ could be saved. John 3:16&17. It won't be Love during the 7 years of Tribulation, it will be anger,wrath. So we must know God loves those who love Him. They are the ones who are His children. God is still seeking those who will repent that they, too, would be restored to right relationship to God. Those who are quite evil or worthless to society are in need of our prayers that they would be convinced of sin and need a Saviour. Jeffrey Dahmer was extremely evil, yet, he recieved Christ as Saviour. Never underestimate the power of prayer for even the vilest sinner. Leave the results to the Holy Spirit.
I kmow a homeless person who had the most cruelest evil happen to them from childhood this person waa beaten raped punched she went on in life to meet her partner who did the same thing to her and turned there kids against her she ended up homeless where is god in that i rem how bad she suffered way they treated her i know another lady similar situation took her life her husband was an abuser turned therr 3 kids against her her pain was so great and loss she ended her life i rem her last words to me im suffering generationally sins of my father who abused me i ask god why everyday
These testimonies are such a strength to me and lift me out of the mundane. They remind me why we are here and that our purpose is far greater than just trying to survive. These testimonies also remind me that there is so much more to be gained by seeking the Lord, there is hope and a good expectation in the Lord Jesus. Thank you for your work to provide this.

This precedes the Parousia which means present presence, a being present, a coming to a place; presence, coming or arrival - of God's Presence. This term references the coming of Christ (Matt 24:3; 1 Cor 15:23; 1 Thess 2:19; 2), as well as the outpouring of God's Spirit. We are experiencing this now. Praise God! I cried in my spirit for a word from God this morning, as my soul, too, felt like "unto death". I resisted my usual distractions on youTube & asked Jesus to speak to me, that I would listen to the first channel that came up. I got a real chuckle when the entire Old Testament was presented as the first option, as an 11hr. long reading. Haha, I thought, how right, but I asked Jesus for a more direct word. There you were, as a gift from God, with the words, concepts & meanings my soul must have been longing for. More than I realised. Ah. freedom. Thank you, Alwyn from Melbourne. I've come back to God recently , but have not yet gone to a church. Hi Dave. I have not found scripture telling us to agree with each other in praying for another. We are, however, taught to be in agreement with the written word of God when we bring our petitions before Almighty God. Your prayers are powerful and effective. Always leaving the results to God trusting Him and praising Him,not because He answered prayer,but because He always is righteous.

Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare TO BE IMPROPER AND UNLAWFUL ON EARTH MUST BE WHAT IS ALREADY FORBIDDEN IN HEAVEN, AND WHATEVER YOU DECLARE PROPER AND LAWFUL ON EARTH MUST BE WHAT IS ALREADY PERMITTED IN HEAVEN. To get the full context of verse 19 start in verse 15 where the scriptures are relating to. .I never knew the importance of reading scriptures in context, rather than using one scripture out of context. I learned how to read in context and how one verse can be totally wrong by itself. Chris Rosborough of his podcast, Fighting For The Faith taught me how to discern false teachings and false prophecies. It cleared away lots of wrong teachings.

That was beautiful, the first part sounded like an intense spiritual battle. Like a test of faith when Jesus permits the Devil to test you. It’s usually very intense when you loose control of your emotions and you feel like you lost your love for God and the enemy tries to make you feel out of control and condemned.

Our beloved Jesus Christ loves us so much. I’ve had many experiences with his amazing love. One time I was watching a movie of Jesus and his crucifixión and I started asking our Heavenly Father why, why why? And the next morning I woke up feeling the most amazing love for all mankind and every person I encounter no matter who, I felt this amazing love for them and this last it for 24 hours. Even though I pray every day to feel this kind of love so pure and beautiful I have not feel it again so deep. Another day I was babysitting my granddaughter and she didn’t want to sleep I always would pray psalms while trying her to sleep but this time wasn’t working so i tried a different room but she didn’t sleep so I went to the couch and I sat with her and finally she felt sleep on my lap and I reclined my head and closed my eyes and I saw Our beloved Jesus standing in front of us with his hands wide open protecting us and saw two angels with military outfit and fire swords trapping two demons and taking them outside and Jesus didn’t move until they were gone. His love is so big and pure that words cannot describe. Ephesians 3 -14,21

May God give you comfort as only HE can. Live everyday to its fullest. Find a youngster who needs a (Father's) input and care, and in pouring yourself out and taking someone under your wing, I believe healing would also come to you as you share. There ARE so many Fatherless youngsters. Father God sees your pain and heartache. The best exercise for any Christian is to pick up a hurting brother or sister. Very uplifting NDE- I was recently diagnosed with Lung/ Adrenal Cancer ( I’ve had 4 Chemo sessions, then I will have radiation) - when you mentioned Praying for someone with Cancer I knew God was speaking through you because you mentioned (Faith ) and that’s what he’s told me to have with him. Very insightful.The enemy is lying to the minds of God’s children telling their minds they are not really saved and all sorts of tormenting lies.Meanwhile God by His Spirit is literally infused within our spirit totally with and for us.Seems like Our Heavenly Father has to help us help him get our mind right and in tune with the reality of Gods presence in us.The pain and suffering is in our minds that need to be renewed and fixed by our savior who loves and treasures us more than our minds are letting us know!!! I think a lot of God’s children are suffering exactly what he is saying.The proof he is saying what God wants his people to know is Jesus who is full of love and compassion asked him to especially tell his children he loves us and wants to fix this problem!!
