I understand what you're saying but I think we need to keep in mind this was in the 80's when people weren't familiar with listening to accounts. He was probably trying to clarify for the audience

Its beautiful to know they all share a commonality of love, acceptance and forgiveness. So contrary to some religions which spew a very negative version of God. I prefer these ones

@@kristinabliss Something about the teachings of hell just don't sit well with me. If you and I can agree that no one is deserving of such a fate, and we can rationally say that, are we morally better than God? No. we get our morals from the divine. At the core we know that no amount of what a person does in this life can warrant such a horrific punishment. I have to believe thats why Christ said.... Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do. I choose to believe GOD is above our inability to do the right thing here on earth. I choose to not believe in a horrific view of God. What possibly can be gained from doing that to anyone? Truly, if you are divine love, you understand better than anyone, you have greater wisdom than anyone, would not God see BEYOND our primal ways down here. i.e You do XYZ, you get punished. That is a very human view of handling things. Punishment enough would be seeing and feeling what you have done to others in a life review. There is nothing to be gained by showing a person their life, making them feel and understand what they did to others they hurt only to end it and say, okay bye bye now suffer for eternity. No that's sick. And If i think that is sick, my morals cannot be higher or better than Gods. I wouldn't wish that upon the worst of society for most of those in society who we deem the worst have eitehr been victims themselves or are born with something not right in their brain. Either way there is nothing to be gained by torturing them for eternity or even a minute. That is not love. No. I choose to believe the best about God. That God is far above this life and that there is a reason for it all, and that reason isn't to cherry pick 95% who managed to do everything right, say the right things, do the right things. As that would not leave room for Grace. For its is not by WORKS that you are saved. Otherwise, we would boast. I got into the good class. I was a good person. I did everything right. God loves me and doesn't love that individual over there. They were punished. Haha ha. Nope. That doesn't speak of love. Love, real love if the bible is to be believed says.. Love keeps no record of wrong. Love takes no pleasure in evil. Sending people to be tormented in my eyes is evil, it delights in doing so, and its no better than what people have done to people down here. So is God evil? No. I choose to believe God is above that and that Hell was created to control the masses. Do this, do that, follow our religion or you will be punished. It has pushed people away. People need to know that God loves them and that if anything needs to be forgiven in this life, its done so because of Gods grace, forgiveness and love for all that he has created.

Yes, this is annoying. Jeff Mara is great for letting his NDE guests speak. He asks few questions and those he does ask seem relevant and mostly at the end when the guest has finished.

I was looking for a comment on this. All the comments are of the interviewer but that coughing was annoying and it was more than one.

That's something I've noticed in multiple talks/speeches that deal with really important topics. There will always be a couple of people in the audience *constantly* coughing, trying to be that source of distraction/interference. Once you notice it you'll start to see it everywhere during important talks. The problem is nobody ever calls them out on it - booting them out of the room/audience. They just let them cough cough cough for the entire talk/speech. Which in some cases can go for 30, 45, 60 minutes or more. So these forces of distraction/interference get away with it, because people don't realize/are naive, and are also conditioned to "be nice."

In my small opinion.. we are here to have experiences..each one creates ,expands on life ,every action has a reaction as rings on the water spreading out..I have an interest in Raymond Moodys books on Life between Life..and Alba Weinman who records her sessions of past life regression hypnosis & healing amongst other things. Amazing stuff.

@@graceunderfire941 Most people are inherently evil, and the evil will manifest if they are in certain circumstances. An example is those that worked for the Gulag system in Stalin’s Russia for fear of themselves being persecuted and poverty. Read Alexander Solzhenitsyn’s Gulag Archpelago. If we are here to learn lessons, as you and many others believe with respect to NDE’a, then it follows according to this belief, that in the spiritual realm these entities choose to be evil. I don’t wish to go there, where evil reigns as it does here on earth.

@@dorothygale5129 I see us as beings having moral choice, in a world where choice is available through the presence of both good and evil spiritual influences. Choice and experiences teach us essential lessons. I think almost all of us will learn to love the good, but we are at different stages of spiritual development.

Bad things create growth and learning. For every disaster there is a charity. I think the tougher question is if we are here to experience good and evil why are some given such different opportunities than others?. The classic atheist example is the baby born blind deaf and with cancer who dies after a short painful life. Where is the purpose in that?. There is so much we don’t know but NDEs open our minds to interesting possibilities. Some NDEs posit that we have chosen our challenges before we were born because we understood that hard things are essential to growth and accelerate learning. Perhaps even the way some NDEs contradict others over reincarnation suggests we may be able to in some way have wider experience than our own limited lives.

God of the Bible ordered babies to be killed, women to be raped, humans to be slaves, sexism against women, violence against gays, pedophilia,and the murder of anyone that believes in a different God than Yahweh. I had a near expirence as well. And no,it had nothing to do with the Bible. Yet,it was the most beautiful feeling I've ever felt. I saw grass, animals,and a big blue river. It was amazing. I was comforted by a loving presence. Then,it sent me back. I woke up in the ambulance grasping for breath. And to make things even better,that loving presence healed my nerve pain in my hands I had for years. God is awesome.

@@GoldSK96 ,it knows your heart and thoughts. This presence knew I hate God of the Bible. Yet,this presence didn't care. God is love. God has no form. God has nothing to do with the Bible or any religious book on earth. God is simply unexplainable. I saw colors there,that I don't see on earth. If only I knew this presence was gonna heal me,I would've thanked it. No-one know how and when God is gonna move. God is neither male nor female. I felt the presence of God but I also felt both genders.

What does coughing have to do with how far we’ve come? Just annoying.

@@seeleygirl6178 If you watch any other NDE videos there is no coughing during the taping bec of technology being more sophisticated blocking it out and no interruptions ! it’s just more respectful... more evolved and just simply more pleasant presentations .

This woman hasn't jumped to any conclusion she has conveyed her experience which matches thousands of other experiences. These aren't the conjurings of the mind as every near death event is triggered differently

You're reducing a universal experience to cliche. Is that not a form of minimizing? My experience has been that most are sceptical until they have the experience themselves, then even the hardest of scientific materialists starts to question their perspectives. Personally, never had a NDE, but I've had enough things happen to me in my life to cause me to strongly suspect that there's more to this world than our experience here on Earth. @@pippagatz No problem, sorry for the harshness of my comment. Bad last few days and just didn’t feel like conversing and explaining myself. I was hoping for a video before hitting the sack that would have a calming effect on me and was terribly let down after watching it. Without going into a lot of detail because I don’t have the time at the moment, my NDE (I was not pronounced dead) was from a drowning incident I had where (at the time it happened I felt like it was an angel) showed me why I couldn’t die at that particular time. That I had very important things to do before my life ended. I really should have died that day. I now know what two of those things were and if it wasn’t for my daughter needing me, I’d be ready to go back now.
