Oh Michael you should drive more sports cars if you believe 150-180 in practically a straight line is impressive... The stability compared to your average family car is ridiculous
This looks insane, incredible driving! People saying 'he doesn't look smooth compared to other pros' I think its just we don't often see pro's pushing cars to the limits especially something as planted as a gt3.
@@paradox5556 Guys why is it so wrong for Paradox to have a different opinion...... I also do not enjoy watching this type of driving as much ( dont kill me pls)
Awesome drive and lap to watch. Also laughed about the end. It’s is everywhere the same hahaha….. a happy wife is a happy life, so do yourself a pleasure and get what they want 😂😂
Brilliant video, I own 992 GT3 and drove 992gt3rs (on the street) , totally agree with you on gt3 is better for what I use it for , RS is a different level of the car and you need different level of driver for it , big plus for me is manual option on gt3 vs RS . Thank you , really enjoy watching it.
It's you who stimulates them like mad drivers. 😁Looks like the gt3MR is little bit hard and fights more like gt3rs ,but they are two queens of the track.
That was an amazing lap. Do you feel safe because the car is so capable and you're with an amazing driver? I've had the pleasure of riding in a highly modified 720s with 1400 whp and although the speeds were insane, I trusted in the engineering and I didn't feel like I was going to die. I've been in 500+hp cars and felt like I was going to die at any moment. As always, love your videos! Great content!
I raced a 1200hp 720s in my 1100 whp Porsche turbo S and that car was all over the road but it looks so stable at the same time. The suspension setup on a stock 720s is already great and I guess can handle 1000hp + somewhat okay. Ps I one by 3 cars 😂
No, basically any newer car with at least around 200 HP can do sub 9 lap BTG with even mediocre driver behind the wheel. But if course track knowledge is important
@skrypka have u been and driven round it ? I have and its takes massive balls to drive round it on a quick lap , also if u crash you can end up with a massive bill for repairs , guy in our hotel damaged a load of armco and got a €5000 bill for repairs plus a towing bill !!
@@JakeM240 I drive Nordschleife regularly every week mostly if I am lucky. And real Nordschleife, not on a simulator. 🙂 All that I say is based on my own experience not friends or etc. Balls concept you mention only starts to "work" when you are targeting sub 8 for relatively stock car / tracktool. 30 seconds more is really area of drivers who drive the ring on a regular basis with well specced cars. Some drivers who come often with quite good cars (mostly stock) never reach sub 8, thats also true, but anyone can do sub 9 for sure. No worries, more practice, more laps and it will be easy, I guarantee 😉
I love it that the obstacle to RS ownership is simply "you need a (rare) allocation" :) In the UK I spec'd up a RS how I'd want it. £250k. Add on MR kit when its done, circa £80k I'll wager plus wheels and a few bits and bobs and we're talking about a £350k car. My 991.2 GT3 RS MR is around £250k market value now and with the side muffler delete its very raw compared to a GT3 which I love. The new RS is "better" but look at the premium you have to pay. Assuming you do get an allocation of course ;-)
I would love to see a new WRX driven by you at some point. Maybe a bit boring for some but I want your professional take! Just a warning make sure they have some upgraded brake pads!
These racing drivers are built different. Only they can remain so clam and collected after a moment like that. This was fricking fast and you are right, for the everyday punter it should be more then enough. If one can get a RS then for sure that would be great, if not the GT3 MR should be sufficient. It's by no means a low tier car. Btw that flyby from the yellow Porsche at the start was fire. You guys flying in the end would've been similar. Am I the only one who loves a good fly by ?
I'm gonna say you "it's NOT the best corner for you guy" 😂😂 even the driver doesn't matter at all like this corner it's not relative to him, impressive, hahahaha
It was kind of fun to watch both videos side by side, synced up as both cars passed under the bridge. The GT3 MR ended up something like 7 seconds off the pace of the RS, and you could see the corner speeds maybe 10 kph lower in high-speed corners... but they looked so similar.
The way that he is able to feed small corrections mid-corner with that car! Other cars would be so upset that they would scrub 10-20 kph or he would be in a full tank slapper. It’s amazing! I have a Spyder on order, nothing close to this, but it’s my dream to do a lap with Misha.
I`d go with the GT3 MR. If I had the money. But, most likeky, I`d get something much slower as I`d surely get myself crashed in this. Can`t get 30 years of front wheel driving out of an old man that easily.
What emotions even from wahtching this video, the way how the car is screaming, how it changing gears - the car feels alive. EV's will never give anything like that, despite the speed and all the sounds gimmicks manufactures are put in it.
cannot FATHOM how quick the GT cars are in the 992 series driving 991.2 C2 & C4 back to back against 992 C2 & C4 was night and day difference just in power and handling let alone, the step between Carrera and GT series in 992 If you think you're a fast driver, buy a Carrera. It'll be fast enough. If you CAN drive, just go the GT3 and spend the price difference on fuel, tires & track time
This car moves around sooo much compared to that white GT3RS from an earlier video. The downforce on the Rennsport is unreal! Great lap nevertheless! 🤙
No bad 👍😎 View your drive timelaps track -/+ 7 ,500 sec min okay .Drive,, alone,, good 6min standart S limit speed laps ... nja again drive ok 7,500---> 6min ok 😎👍 1 min +/- View and listen engine ok Gear soft/fast standart ok Tires ok Balansed car ok Air dimamix ok There were car thistles on the track. Therefore, 1 minute behind the standard record lap. I took the time for you in 7 minutes, a fraction of a hundredth of a second. But that's good. A little more. There will be a 6-minute lap in S category Hard. 👍😎💪
call me a fake carguy but i couldnt care less about the 4 seconds, ok thats a lie i do, a lot actually, but still, the looks of the gt3 rs and the thecnology behind that thing..... ok i agree the gt3 mr is better than nothing but we would all take the rs over it anny day of the week🙈
What are your optimal tire pressures or temperatures when hot? And what cold pressures do you start with? I am running Goodyear Eagle f1 Supersport R (80tw) on stock 992 GT3 and wondering what to aim for on track? Thanks, would appreciate input.
Really sick video! No matter which of those two some lucky baste....s will buy, in 99.9% of the cases, the limiting factor will be the driver, not the car.
There's a scientific relation between the diameter of Misha's eyes and the danger of the situation. There should be a real time measuring indication in the screen.
imo best Porsche to get. way more beautiful, very track capable, kinda daily driveable - like you could actually get to a track in it for a track day/weekend, unlike gt3rs.
the driving skills are insane. however this guys is driving it like he is driving a go cart. The way he is turning the wheel (not gradual but "stepped"(if i can say so) ) reminds me.the way i usually drive a fast go cart.. Misha please comment..
damn wat a lap. the McDonalds drive thru must be bout to close. awesome driving Thomas. wat ever it takes to get the lap done, everyone has a different driving style.

MIsha, I might be wrong so feel free to not give a fuck, but it looks like your helmet doesn't quite fit tightly enough. You should look into getting different sized padding for it/ downsizing 1 size if you can. Love your content
Honestly, I think that 99% of Porsche owners probably can't drive their car anywhere close to the limit to begin with and those that can will more than likely be the people who will buy the GT3 RS.
