I think it would be cool if you did a video that showed everything from a walk around, to a cold and dark startup, to taxi and takeoff.

Wow, your videos are truly impressive! The video quality is top-notch, the camera placement and editing are superb. It's evident that you put a lot of time and effort into capturing, producing, and editing these videos, and it really pays off. Your production values are on par with the best around! I can tell that you have a great understanding of proper flying procedures, and your piloting skills are exceptional. Your snappy communications add a level of professionalism that is truly commendable. Not only are you skilled in the cockpit, but you also have a fantastic personality that shines through in your videos. It's clear that you are relatable and genuine, making your content even more enjoyable. I've noticed that your Vlog #2 has received the highest number of views, and it's not hard to see why. Your combination of good flying, detailed explanations, and storytelling really captivates the viewer. Sharing your experience of transitioning in detail was very nice. In my opinion, the channels that resonate with viewers the most are the ones that feature planes they are interested in, allow them to dream of being in the pilot's seat, and create a connection with the pilot. Luckily, you tick all these boxes! Your relatability and outstanding personality truly enhance the quality of your videos and your flying skills. It would be wonderful to see glimpses of your life outside of the plane when it fits into the story, as it adds an extra dimension to your videos. If I may offer a suggestion, I think it would be fantastic to see more detailed explanations in your videos. It's not just about reading the checklist and having snappy communications; viewers want to see the intricacies of piloting. Close-up shots of the PFD and MFD, along with actual manipulation of the FMS, would be incredibly informative and engaging. Additionally, sharing some insight into your decision-making process would be valuable. It would be like receiving a little bit of instruction along the way without feeling talked down to. Keep up the incredible work! Your videos are already fantastic, but with the addition of more detailed explanations and glimpses into your decision-making process, they will undoubtedly become even more captivating. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!

I never paid attention to how many subs you had and would've guessed you were already an established channel. Your video quality is incredible. That being said, your question about vlogging is basically if you want to put the work in recording and editing your life. If so then you open your channel to fans of vlog style videos who will learn you're a pilot and stay for that or stay for your vlogs or both

I’m glad you asked what people want to watch. I think it would be really cool to show what you do before and after you land the plane. Going into the airport, hotel, other things you do during the day would be entertaining to watch. I think like 80% flying 20% non flight would be cool.

Great video, whoops we almost ran you into another aircraft my bad. Come on guys, hard job I know and why I support far more controllers on duty. One person should never be so task saturated that a mistake is made. Great work on your channel, I’m here mostly for aviation content but if your around the town is done as well as these are I would watch about anything you put out. Thanks for my flying fix! Most important I’m thankful you and the other pilot stayed safe.

Answering question about what we'd like to see: For me, approach/arrival/landing is the most interesting (and chaotic as you are never sure what ATC is going to throw at you), second interesting is takeoff/departure. General backstory at cruise is cool to hear especially stories that maybe you didn't vid capture. New subscriber. Like what I see so far. Keep it up!

Very enjoyable and informative video, thanks! I have a technical question about the Vision Jet: is the stick fly-by-wire or mechanically linked to the control surfaces? If FBW, does it have force feedback? And lastly: how much pressure on the stick do you have to use for a standard turn at, say 200 knots?

I feel like people want to be entertained while learning something new in aviation. I fly 20 and 22 and wonder what’s it’s like in the jet! no clickbait and bs. I watch a finance guy with a blank background and he spews facts and things to consider with the education to back it up. He has 2 million followers. Funny how many people want to learn something without all the drama. Every video give us something unique to think about. if you build it, they will come😂😂

Hi Stephen, I just found your channel and it's awesome! I like the fact that you come across as an honest straightforward guy. There are a few flashy pilot channels out there. I'd like to learn more about you and how you got to a position to buy such a great jet. I'm about to buy my first SR22, and my goal is to "climb" to the Vision Jet, so I'm very interested in what your journey has looked like.

For me, one or two "life of" would suffice. It's the flying that's inaccessible to me, and thus interesting to watch. As to the title... I missed the "near miss." I assume it was that traffic 300' above that you (and I) didn't see. A little click-baity, but it's not why I clicked so I gave a thumbs-up. Maybe it's just me, but that opening music was so bad I almost left the video. I'm glad I stayed to see if you'd turn it off. The ICS/radio audio quality is excellent! That Vision jet is tiny but mighty. I'm impressed with how "big" it flies! Thanks for sharing.

Not sure what I did to have several Vision Jet videos show up in my feed in the last week, but I’m glad it happened. You’ve done a great job with your first few flight vlogs. I am guessing you have paid attention to how some of the experienced aviation RU-vidrs do it. I’d like to see more content like on the Vision Jet. Don’t let it go to your head 😉, but I get a Premier1Driver vibe from you. (Nod to @gregmink) 👍 That said, how did you file for the socal flights? Do you file for specific arrivals, trying to avoid the ones that have those high speed demands? I remember watching @citationmax dealing with the need-for-speed on an LA arrival back in his SF50 days. The Vision Jet seems like it can be stuck with fewer options - terminal procedures with speeds it has hard time keeping up, or ones with “Turbojets not authorized.” I’m a pilot with about 250 rusted hours in my log book. I got pulled away from flying when I was working on my instrument rating 25+ years ago, and now I only stay “in-the know” on these things by flying vicariously through guys like you. Nice work - thanks for sharing.

Hi Stephen (Typing that, and saying it in my head, instantly made me think of 'Cable Guy'... "Hello Stephen..." Anyway, asking about what people find interesting is a good idea. The mention of listening to Chicago ATC was something I found to be cool. As a general rule, I think you'd be surprised at the content viewers would like most. What's regular stuff for you may be pretty interesting to others. I think posting more views of things would be a great idea...or at least offer it to people (Like the instrument cluster, or outside views, like continuous outside views of take-off, landing, or continuous instrumentation during same).
