what about the quality of the image, because I'm wanting to take some expensive magazine articles and scan into a pdf and make like an online magazine out of it. to keep a digital copy of the article and plus its easier to store a magazine digitally

I like the review but, can you compare the neat desk scanner with the fujitsu s1500 or one of those you have. I like the idea of the fujitsu allowing you to put the document where you want. I tried the neat desk scanner but it froze three times on me and no tech support was not there for me. Sent the scanner back
This appears to be biased comparison against neat scan. I dont own any of these but you are comparing the small portable neat scan against everything else and then knocking it for not doing what the other scanners do. Comparw apples yo apples not apples to grapes.
4656superman I don't feel it's a biased review against the Neat scanner. However, if you read enough reviews comparing the Fujitsu scanners to the Neat scanners I think you'll discover that there are many negative reviews about the Neat scanners and very few negative reviews about the Fujitsus
