Some excerpts from the amazing @ridebdr route for the North East. Amazing route with varying levels of difficulty going all the way up to the Canadian border. This starts only 2 hours from the city. Featuring a #Yamaha #tenere700 and a #ducati #desertx Rally. Both bikes handled extremely well. Section 3 onwards contains a lot more route details.

What camera setup are you using? Nice to see a good preview of the route that's more riding perspective. I'm doing NEBDR in July and it's my first BDR. Trying to be as prepared as possible. This is helpful.

Enjoy it! Exciting. The main route is easy, expert tracks are mostly fun and manageable but better off with a group. I am using Insta360 Ace Pro and Insta360 x4.

@@gothamtrails Looking forward to it. Somewhat intimidated at the mileage. I've never run that many miles in a trip. I'll be in a group of 4 and the others have all done multiple BDR's.

did you use your iphone for NAV?

For sections 1 and 2, yes. For sections 3 onwards I continued using Gaia GPS but also a Garmin Zumo XT, which I found to be more legible in bright light. I used Gaia mainly for exploration or if Garmin was confusing. Gaia is better than most GPS devices for navigation honestly.
