I searched the whole internet without any information on how to remove plastic on new purchase of this flashlight until I seen your review video. Thanks for your video. I was ready to return my flashlight.

Thank you for the video! I had the same problem as most other users in removing the plastic battery protector before use. I watched your video 1st. Mine came with an overtightened battery compartment. Had to extend the zoom end to expose a bit of the top section, wrap with electrical tape to prevent damage when gripped with multi-grips, then twist body by hand to open. That did the trick.
I can definitely agree on that, I bought a nebo redline 1400 lumens, but didn't like that it took 6 batteries so I exchanged it for this beast and couldn't figure it out. The other unscrews from the bottom so it was confusing.

Thank you for showing so much for showing how to take the cover off the battery cuz the instructions that came with the flashlight do not show how to do this so I couldn't charge it couldn't turn it on you've helped me enjoy my $50 flashlight. Thanks again so much
If you need extra batteries and if they are not in stock at nebo you can buy extra batteries at altex in San antonio they carry for the slyde king BUT the batteries In the slide king 2 work in the DaVinci lights
Thank you for showing and explaining how to take the battery out. I have a Davinci 1500, which looks exactly the same as the 1000. The instructions given with the unit are woefully deficient. It's a great flashlight! Thanks again.

2024, needed this video to get the damn thing working. Already disappointed with the purchase. The base unscrews, the main body unscrews, the top unscrews. Way to go and have it work against you in the middle of the night. Anybody can start a business these days.😅

yeah- no instructions on how to get battery out to remove disk blocking conduction- for initial use. Just says to remove the cardboard disk in battery compartment. I didn't want to break anything by cranking on zoom or charge port area. I used your video to see where to unscrew for battery compartment. Thank You! Nebo needs to show where that's at on package instructions-c'mon!
Would someone. Anyone. Please for once review a flashlight and go outside into their backyard at night and show me how bright it is? All flashlights look bright in your living room. I couldn’t care less about getting to the battery or the lanyard. I need to see how much LIGHT it gives.
I got 1 of these only I found that the brightness on the lowest setting was really weak I only had it for barely a week before I gave it to my wife I was thinking of getting the davinci 2000 which is the next model up from this but at £60 it's an expensive mistake to make if it's as disappointing as this
You mentioned about a lot of people not doing a good review. It would have been so much better if you showed its performance out doors instead of shining it into the camera which does demonstrate anything 🤨
