@@BULLETENVY Agreed. Ives used Nebo in the past and they are very dependable. I’ve had many cheap torches and at some point not too far into there life they fail. People get hung up on massive lumens but in the real world you don’t need it. I bought this torch in the UK on your review and you was spot on. Highly recommended.
You're correct. They are very dependable. I haven't had even one flashlight from them fail on me yet so that's my experience also. I'm really glad my review helped you. I'm also glad to have some support from the UK. 🇬🇧 Thank you sir.
@@BULLETENVYVery helpful video.. I was very inclined to buy this flashlight but after learning that has rotary button for modes, I changed my mind. I am looking for a type-C rechargeable pocket sized flashlight having long throw, magnetic tailcap Please guide.
That's awesome! After some time I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. And I try to. I understand some people just get bored and need to get it out but I'm always trying to do better either way good or bad.
I found the 2000 in a snowbank while walking my dog today and consider myself pretty lucky because I could tell right away this is a nice quality flashlight! Looking here to see how it charges and functionality. How long will it hold a charge while on the shelf? Thanks for the demo.
Man what luck you have. That's like finding 50 bucks on the ground. Happy for you. I've had some Nebo flashlights that wouldn't hold a charge for nothing but this particular one I've laughed in my drawer for three or four months and it still had between 50 and 80% charge. Thanks for watching.
Nice review. I was originally gonna get a 15 dollar 1000 lumin flaahlights for"self defense" but seing as i have no way yo know if thry actualy have a way to intantly tun on the turbo or stobe mode i decoded to go for skmething around 50 bucks. The powerbank beature is definatley worth something. May i ask what power source it uses?(aa, 217000 186400 ect)
Yes I think you're going to want something a little bit more robust and this does have the aluminum casing which is really nice. And the strobe on this flashlight is super powerful. It strobes at a 1000 lumens. However I am unsure of the power source and I have currently misplaced my flashlight but if I ever find it I'll definitely let you know LOL
So do you charge the flashlight itself with the small port? I understand those can be used to charge other devices but is that where you charge the flashlight itself?
Yes you use the smaller micro port to actually charge the light which takes anywhere between 4 and 6 hours and the USB port is what you use to charge other devices with the flashlight.
Hi! Just got mine today and it dims after 2-3 minutes to about 50% brightness or even less, at room temperature. Not sure if i got a faulty one, it was advertised as it lasts 2000 lumen for 2 hours...
Yea dude you most definitely got a faulty one. Contact whoever you got it from and get it switched out. I can have mine on for hours with no flickering or dimming at all. Great battery life. Sorry to hear that tho. No company is perfect.
update: turns out there was something called Smart Power Control to extend battery life on the box. There was nothing like that on the webshop or the official Nebo site. I didn't find any information about how to turn it off so i refunded it. The local shop didn't know anything about it either, they only knew the official description from Nebo. Sad story, gotta find another flashlight now :D I really liked the full power brightness though.
@AfiraxTM really?! Never heard anything of the sort. Seriously. Had these lights for years. I personally would give it another try but I hope you find a good light. Lemme know.
On my flashlight it says before you open battery compartment removed battery discard plastic disk I charged it it’s still not working. What am I doing wrong?
Once you remove the plastic disc fully you should 100 percent be able to charge the light just fine. If it's not I would open it up and make sure the battery is not in backwards for some reason.
Well on any flashlight it's either going to be the top of the bottom but on this one I do believe you unscrew the top housing where the actual light bulb is
Thats cool dude. I never cared much for the slyde. Its good in theory but seemed to me a bit bulky and all the ones i owned had issues or flickering. Plus i like the design of the davinci so much better. sleek. but to each there own and i hope you enjoy them!
Used mine for an hour. Push button switch broke. No where to get parts. Pile of $hit..Customer service non existent. Zero chance of repair. Waste of $100
Which model did you get for $100? I only paid $50 for the flashlight in the video. I do know they have some models that aren't that great. Like the switch or whatever but if you can't get through to customer service maybe try taking it apart if you're savvy and that department. One of the buttons a long time ago on one I had broke and I took it apart and it was a super easy fix. Sucks you had a bad experience.
Yea it definitely is a luck of the draw. The have some models that are phenomenal but some are junk. Hints why I try and test them out for yall so you can watch first. Trying to get them to send me some. Unfortunately I have to buy all mine currently.
I'm not really sure either way on that one. I haven't had to call them for anything but I always hate it when companies don't give good customer service so sorry for your bad experience.
