Nebraska beat Ohio State in our first year in the B1G, only time we have beaten them since joining but we have beaten them in conference play.

I honestly think Dante Dowdell will win the #1 RB position if not #2 for sure. That man is a monster who is a smash mouth type RB, I followed him at Oregon and can't wait to see how much he's developed. For the record I see a 9-3 record.

I had 3 different. Remember Huskers aren’t just a good or improved defense . This is one of the top defenses in CFB. Huskers will be a top 10 defense and I expect them to improve and will finish inside the top 5 nationally! The D-line? It’ll be the best in CFB. No need to say anything about the D…again they are top 5. Offense? The O-line has a legit shot of being the best in the BIG10. Deep and extremely talented! The TR group is the best and Fidone may push for All-American honors. WR’s you nailed…very good and deep group. And the RB’s will use that offensive line and be a top rushing team. Expect over 210 yds per game rushing. Having said all that… There shouldn’t be any way Rutgers comes into Lincoln and beats the undefeated Huskers on “Homecoming” weekend. I know OSU should win at home, Odd a bye, and both teams ranked inside the top 7! Huskers drop a few to 9. USC is another game…IMO it isn’t whether the Oscars can keep up with USC… Remember, this may be the top rank defense in the country by this point. The question is, can they score enough and not let the huskers control the pace. The huskers can put together long drives and possibly put up 300+ yards rushing in this game, that leaves Raiola with play action pass opportunities. Huskers should win this game… But this is on the road, nationally televised and is it close enough that a freshman makes a mistake? Again I like the huskers in this game, but I am not gonna give them the win yet… Until I see the first few games. The last game that I don’t agree is Iowa. I think this game will come down to possibly the huskers chance to play in the playoffs and possibly the Big Ten championship as well. Oscars will be Iowa as they have a better defense and a much better offense… Although I will not be as bad on offense as they have the last two years. This is a nationally televised game under the lights and will be meaningful for both teams. Oscars win this one by 11 so in the end I have the huskers 10-2 and should be 11-1. Either record I expect them to be in the playoffs… For now as a at-large bid.

I disagree with Rutgers... Kaliakmanis was trash against our D last year. That is a home game also. Iowa... no way we lose that. I feel like Iowa has to figure out that new identity with a new OC. They might score more but they won't be playing super somservative to the D favor also leading to possibilities of turnovers. Also they can't seem to find a quality starting QB... I dont think this year is much different

Rhules college record is .500. Dylan Raiola may or may not be a good QB. What no one addresses is Nebraska doesn't have any talent overall. In 24 they had zero players drafted to the NFL. That isn't workable in the Big Ten. Gifford is probably the best player on the team. Both Indiana and Rutgers will probably go bowling.

I get your analysis, but if you think Nebraska will lose at home to Rutgers is just mind numbing. I mean, anything is possible, but Nebraska will be a double digit favorite. Also, your prediction of 8-4 is exactly in line with all the other thousand RU-vidrs doing season forecasts. 8-4 prediction is not imaginative or inspiring. I’d respect it more if you said 5-7 or 10-2.
