Seeing these kids start to believe has been my favorite part of these videos. They truly believe they can and will compete with any team in the country.
48:43 - This right here gave me chills and got me teared up. Coach Campbell nails it. We love our state and we're proud to call ourselves Nebraskans. We feel a special connection to the University of Nebraska athletics, and especially football, because it is the embodiment of who we are. We work hard and face adversity head-on. We don't quit, we pick ourselves back up and move forward. Win or lose, if the team works hard, plays fair, and never quits, it shows the rest of the country just who we are. This... this is Nebraska. GBR.
Imagine being a player and not realizing who you really play for until that moment. If it were me, I'd be ready to run through a brick wall for my team after that. This staff is really special. Campbell is a great motivator. Proud to have them on this journey.
@@Maverick8224 That's why I love that it says "I play 'FOR' Nebraska" in the tunnel. Anyone can play "at" a university, but Nebraska is different. Of course it's absolutely deserved that each of these guys hold their own personal motivations to play. But having players and coaches understand the bigger picture as coach Campbell mentioned, is what makes Nebraska special.
I’m from Lincoln but live in the middle of Missouri now. I love this coaching staff and this team. When my daughter was young, we had season tickets and drove 5 hours every Friday and 5 back every Sunday to be in the stadium. As she got older, we couldn’t do that anymore and gave up our tickets - but you know where I’ll be on Sept. 7 vs Colorado!!!!!!!!
These docs are masterpieces, they go so fucking hard. I'm so inspired man. So much love for the state as a native Nebraskan and it just explodes in me when I watch these. GBFR. ❤
I look forward to every one of these episodes. I'm really looking forward to visiting Lincoln from North Carolina again and going to the game versus Northern Iowa high atop Section 32. GBR!
Theyre doin this for us yall. For the state. For their families and livelihood and for their legacy. Its crazy to think that theyre the ones building the foundation that weve been missing for so long. Im gonna think about this every time they take the field. Theyre giving everything they have for this game. Go take it!! GBR
This is BY FAR the best episode in the series. Makes me proud to be a Nebraskan watching these guys put in the work. Giffords speech about how bad he wants to win brought tears to my eyes. LFG and win this year!!
GBR There are good and bad people in this world, it is up to us to pick a side. Bring along your friends and family to make a positive difference, like you boys say 1% better and it is not just football, mindset will make your life and our world a better place. Never settle, never quit, be the future leaders our country needs. Stay humble, work hard, pick yourself up when you get knocked down. Look left, look right find ways to help others in your community, be a difference maker. Now its time to show the world what good honest hard work, loyalty and teamwork can do for a team that is all as one. Once a Nebraskan always a Nebraskan GBR
As an OSU fan, I'm here to see these guys grind out a shocker of a year. Miss the days when Nebraska was considered a big game and matched the hype they had following them.
So good!!! Those stairs look brutal LOL! I feel like I am really getting to know the players, and as a fan I really want to win but I want to win even more for our players and all the hard work they are going through... Love you guys!!! GBR!!!
Holy shit the team is jacked, hell Coach Campbell is swole. Heck all the players aren't skipping leg day that's for sure, even Coach McQuire doesn't skip leg day.
It's gotta translate to the field this year. This is all great however at the end of the day we need to win 7 or 8 minimum. We've had the strength, size, speed for a long time. It's about decision making in crunch time, turnovers, and coach management. Also I don't like everyone saying "it's gonna come down to the 4th quarter" or "every game will be close". Even if you think that's true I'd still coach my squad to dominate and win big baby. Saying every game will come down to the last play isn't what I want to speak into existence. Just some thoughts/feedback. That being said let's GBR these boys got alot of heart!
Im a Georgia fan I've been watching Nebraska and keeping updated on them last couple years the same as got what it takes they never gave up even in those close losses they played hard the whole game and showed up the next week ready to play hard again there's really good team unity the workers they don't quit they got some solid coaching I'm expecting between 9 and 10 Wins this year they just need to get a couple breaks that they didn't last year I'm going to be watching Nebraska and you got some of the best most loyal fans there is. There's got to be some good offensive line play got to be some ball Hawking on defense and don't turn the ball over. Ps is quarterback Dylan rayola is going to be the difference the spark plug they needed if he can take care of the ball I'm going to say 9 or 10 wins and I do believe they have what it takes to make the playoffs
Not gonna lie a jittery fan base hearing Matt say “I’ll be the head coach here for 5…6,7,8,9,10 years.” does not do anything to quell the anxiety of a program looking for some stability.
I wouldn't look into that too far... He was only making the point of "i'll be here longer than you guys." I don't think he meant anything by the numbers that he referenced.
No wonder there are so many knee injuries. Running stadiums with all that weight added to your body can over stress the knees and make them weaker when they get hit or have a lot of non contact injuries. Same reason pitchers have a pitching count. Same for kickers having sports hernias. When do run uphill during the game of football. Two to three hour intervals of sprints with short breaks on the field would have the same outcome and less knee injuries.
The knee injuries aren’t related to weight it’s related to playing surface. A lot of guys in the NFL don’t like playing on turf they would rather play on grass, turf causes more ACL injuries than grass, the cleats get caught up on the turf.
It isn't weight, it is give in the surface. it was why were are going to grass. To protect players. And you are going to see a lot more team do the same, and quire a few have already.
You have no idea what your talking about. Different exercises are ment to help in different areas. It's better to have a mix so your body is able to adapt. Over doing an exercise is harmful yes. But completely ignoring them is harmful as well. They aren't running stairs every single day.
I puked three times just watching these guys run stadiums. 🏟️ I will say this though, you’re seeing toughness and grit engrained in these guys. You’re seeing unity and accountability happen and that’s what it takes to build a winner. GBR!
