The Same happened to me but For when I got The Neca Ultimate Chucky. So far I have Chucky, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface and This exact Jason Figure in the mail.
Aw. I read this and got a bit excited. I was like, "but that's not how they looked in the movie." So I was thinking NECA took some artistic liberties. So one side of their face would be a different colour, and more mangled up. That would've been pretty damn cool.
I watched your video back when you posted it, but I wanted to say that I just found this figure for the first time tonight. It sucks that Neca won't be making any new Jason figures for a while, but I'm happy we got all the one's we did. I was really looking forward to an Ultimate Jason X figure, because I love the "futuristic" look of him, but I'm probably in the minority. I'll be happy enough that the Roy is still supposed to come out, so at least there's that. It's too bad, too, that we never got a "victims" pack for either Jason or Freddy. Jason's pack could've come with telekinetic Tina from Part 7, Mark in the wheelchair from Part 2 and... I don't know, Kevin Bacon? If they couldn't get their likeness rights, just make a generic character that would stand-in for them. As for Freddy, I really wanted a Nancy figure to pose with him or Alice from Part 4 and 5. Sigh... at least we finally got a Laurie, albeit the old version, from Halloween. Oh, the possibilities, though... ^_^
There's just sooo much you said there, but the main thing I thought of was Alice from those Freddy movies. From what I recall, I'm pretty sure that was the pretty blonde haired woman that Riker had a thing for in that one Next Generation episode. It was this woman that's sole purpose was to kill off an entire group of people. Man, that's been *forever* ago when I last saw that. Next Gen definitely didn't hold up, like DS9, Voyager, or even Enterprise did. When I was younger, I would watch that show every single night. But now, it's the one Trek show (besides the original too) that I just can't re-watch over and over. Okay, that was completely off topic lol.
I got this Jason for my birthday It was a week ago and I love this figure! He was only 27 dollars at target and I got a bunch of awesome stuff for my bday
My favorite version of Jason has always been part 4 jason, mostly because part 4 is my favorite movie in the series, But this Jason is perfect for representing Jason Voorhees as a dark, Sinister Fable.

I keep up to date on figure news, but had no clue NECA lost the license for both 😦. I knew something was up with them only doing three ultimate Freddy's, yet kept pumping out more Jason's (as the license is cheaper/less complicated?). But to not get another Freddy, or any of the Kane "Jason Voorhees" Hodder figures is fucking devastating. Well....looks like I'll have to pay big bucks to get those old pre-posed leg versions of the other Freddy's. Either that, or buy a few more part 3 ones. I mean, we can always plop that one battling this Jason. It's the best we got..

I hope they get the licences back, I really want to see a part 7, part 8, Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X versions of these figures to complete the collection.
They should have done his head a different color. On this figure his head is practically the same color as his shirt, and that is inaccurate to the movie. You're right his skin was almost black, although I'd say it was more of a dark gray. When I get this figure I'm going to rectify that. I'm also not pleased with the lack of accessories. Some Ultimate's are loaded with accessories, and then some get almost nothing. It's inconsistent. When these figures cost the same price you should get the same or about the same amount of accessories with each. It also sucks that Neca went ahead and made a Remake Jason and a FvsJ Jason when fans have been asking for a New Blood Jason for years, and now that the licence is on hold we may never get it. I don't think people were clamoring for these two the way people have been clamoring for a Part 7. Well done Neca. I like the design of these figures but New Blood, Jason Takes Manhattan, JGTH, and even Uber Jason should have come first. At least we're finally getting a Roy Burns so they at least did something right, but Dream Jason from Part 5 was a waste of a figure, and then them opting to make swappable heads instead of removable masks was a deal breaker for me. I know Jason never appeared without a mask in Part 5, but they could have used their imagination.

You could set it up where Jason is lighting up their machete with that flame coming off of part 2 Freddy's back. Then have another character lighting up their cigarette with Back Flame Freddy.
The shoes are accurate to the movie, as is the blue shirt. It's their most accurate details since implementing the Jason Split. Good point with the ending. I gotta admit this figure is quite fine, although i was hoping it be a little better when it comes to the color scheme, like i really recall that in the promotional pictures the skin was a little more grayish? and the jacket just a little more darker but then overall it's a good figure, nice review, heck I'm not sure if i want this figure right now especially considering this is my favorite look for Jason, nuff said.

Yeah, his skin did look almost jet black in the movie. We also didn't get to see his face clearly, but the face on this figure still looks kinda off to me. Doesn't give me a Jason feeling is all.
Is it true Neca no longer has the manufacturing rights to Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm street? That really sucks, now all of the hoarders are going to charge a fortune for these figures on Ebay.

I have this guy pre-orderd through BBTS, but have no clue when the crap they'll ship it. Says this month, but I'm seeing it all over the place which is making me annoyed lol. Only other one I have is the Part 6 Jason. Picked up a remake one the other day for my son cause he's more into these than myself. I enjoy 1/6 scale, but even so I wish they would've made a part 7 before all the legal crap got to them :/.
