My hope for Neca is that when GvK finally comes out, they would get their licensing back from Playmates and can create even more Godzilla figures because I always hoped for figures of other monsters and also a Godzilla 2000 figure. I know Monsterarts does those figures but those are so expensive and rare.

Neca went out of their way for a beam and doesn't charge you. Monsterarts is charging you a limb for a gmk heat ray ver that doesn't even come with a beam

Holy crap this is great! This makes me sad because neca was going crazy with Godzilla and the sculpts got better

yeah that tail was hard to get on...I was a bit stumped at first, but finally got it attached. LOL!

Hey Steve and Arnes I have been watching your Godzilla videos for a while and you guys are funny and entertaining! I have been thinking on getting some neca Godzilla figures but to be honest I have been a bit picky. I want to buy a screen accurate Heisei Godzilla neca figure and the two figures that I have seen from your channel that look good but I don’t know which to decide, it was this Review video The Godzilla 1989 figure and it looks pretty cool and it even has a spiral atomic breath. the only issue I have is the eyes and the head sculpt, every time I look up heisei godzilla it’s usually the menacing looking Godzilla that people mostly associate when they think of Godzilla (at least to me) The other neca Godzilla figure I have trouble deciding was The Godzilla 1994 / Godzilla vs spacegodzilla figure. It looks menacing but I think the tail is a little bit shorter and it doesn’t come with a breath effect. But I have heard that the 1994 figure was the first(?) neca Godzilla figure that may have joint issues. On Amazon Biogoji is about 50 dollars and 1994 Godzilla is 45 dollars with both free shipping. What are your opinions? Which would be the best figure to buy that is most screen accurate? Please and thank you!!!!

Ive seen people make customs of this figures head. The original is still really good.

I bought a second and made a burning Godzilla out of it to replace the old one neca had and it looks amazing! Although the 95 is slightly different... I was inspired to do so by the recent release of the diamond select burning Godzilla which doesn’t use the 95 suit.

Where did you get those ground/tree pieces

I looked for this figure and the 2003 at the Targets in my state and sadly couldn't find them until I found them at a Target in a neighboring state.

Oh I made a custom Snow Godzilla with this figure...

For this one I will use blue sharpie to like paint the spines then I'll just do a little tap on the tail nothing for the beam just the spine on the figure that's all.

I wish I had a local Target in my location!

The promotional pictures looked terrible but doing a review on your figure it looks much better honestly it's not a bad figure at all if the eyes were dark brown like sh then itd look exactly alike but I cant wait to get this figure in the mail

I thought Godzilla was a greenish color in king kong v. Godzilla Also the quality of each release getting better and better could have led to then being on par or even better than sh and that could have been another reason for the cancellation of the line

He was green in 2000 millennium and megaguirus but those are the only live action Japanese incarnations

My problem with the eyes is that it isn’t all brown like it should be

Just as good as the Monsterarts tails? Nah...I have the SHMA G19, Rebirth 1995 Godzilla, 2000 Special Color Version and GMK and I'm gonna be honest, NECA's tail for this figure is way better than all of those by a long shot. I can play around with that thing all day without feeling like it's gonna eventually pop off. It feels a lot more natural and fluent. And even though I like the SHMA G19 better than the NECA version, the tail on the SHMA G19 is still kinda stiff, and NECA's is a bit more flexible in comparison.
