To be honest, as a non-fan that just likes a couple songs of theirs, I was listening to this and thinking that the guy doing backing vocals sounds like a better singer than the main one.
@d2h hey, Ben isn't bad at all. It just would be cool if they could share lead vocals or something? Not gonna happen, but the other guy is really good.
Sunshine, we don't belong here We got no flowers to grow But it feels so good with you on me, baby Yeah, it feels so good when you know When you know Make peace with your demons and hope that they leave you alone And make peace with your feelings Admit there's a reason you're not letting go We could fall right into nothing Open arms like we're infinite You've got nothing left to lose When you've been crying all night Sunshine, we don't belong here We got no flowers to grow But it feels so good with you on me, baby Yeah, it feels so good when you know When you know Break free Oh no, not literally 'Cause you've got work at eight And I've got friends who hate me No, break free from all that makes you weak And in that moment stay for forever and a day Or three months in, I'm thinking about more than just the next week Baby, you feeling me? Sunshine, we don't belong here We got no flowers to grow But it feels so good with you on me, baby Yeah, it feels so good when you know And when you know You wanna bottle the feeling Never let go God, I hate when you're leaving It just feels so good when you want me baby I'll go where you go Wherever you go Sunshine, we don't belong here We got no flowers to grow But it feels so good with you on me, baby Yeah, it feels so good when you know When you know And when you know You wanna bottle the feeling Never let go God, I hate when you're leaving It just feels so good when you want me baby I'll go When you know
Seb always worked with them but only now he's an official member. I believe he did most of the harmonies on the Wishful Thinking album (maybe some other tracks too)
Nice to see some more positive vibes now the singles have been out for a little while. I knew ppl would come around to them, its still nd guys and we will always have rain in july, but its always fresh and interesting to hear different directions being taken. Also I'd like to hear Ben try and do a live stripped version of Lowlife hahaha, no cheating Ben no pitch correction I want to hear those screams raw as fuck
I love the band and respect they wanna go in a different direction but this sounds too different :/ I loved their fast paced stuff more. People would mosh/crowd surf at their concerts but now it seems like they're just gonna hold up their lighters throughout the set. Just my opinion tho
Band yg lagunya selalu nemenin disaat nongki sepulang sekolah bersama teman teman dengan bawa rokok ketengannya kalo enggak ya urunan ngepak rokok, cepet ilang dong corona aku kangen suasana normal nih
Why is dani not playing a sjc kit????????? Like am I crazy and I’ve just never seen a sjc kit with Ludwig style lugs on the kit or is that a Ludwig kit ??????? Edit: seb said on live stream that Dani is still part of the sjc team but danis kit is in storage and he had to borrow a kit from a friend
Really Fucking good! I really like the mix But i am gonna be honest i wish the bass was a little mixed in there with everything els It's there 100% I hear it obviously. I just wish it was mixed with the drums a little differently, But this is what you guys wanted and i respect the shit out of that. Still a really good job guys.
It was amazing how you guys figured out how to "scape" from quarantine with a red screen, this way could be possible to record it from different places (at your houses). Criativity is the key to be "free" from Covid-19
at the risk of sounding rude.... what happened to his voice? I noticed a change immediately after hearing their last album, but it's gotten even higher pitched since then. The vocals on Life's Not Out to Get You and The Peace and the Panic forward don't even sound like the same person. It's so high it almost sounds like it was pitched up into chipmunk territory.
Homie sang “wherever you go” in a relatively normal sounding voice I don’t understand why everyone is freaking out. Also this entire thing is mixed and there is definitely some heavy processing on both vocals but I still love the original song
This version is so much better with just one vocal line. The album version is doubled with an octave lower. Still a great song, just a bit over produced.
