What kinda workouts you do? I'm into weight training, and TWS works just fine. The issue I feel is that the battery life goes to shit after a few months.
Legends still prefer the wired earphone over bluetooth ones. At the cost of TWS , you can easily get hi-fi IEMs , which has far superior sound quality and clarity than any wireless earphones and no worries for changing as well.
My only contentions with neckband earphones are that they hang too far down and the connecting part isn't flexible enough to be put in pocket. I liked the older style where they were connected by wire only, length was manageable and it could be quickly stowed away in a pocket or a small ziplock bag. Maybe I'm just weird in my ways. 🤔
I used neckbands for a couple years, and switched to tws some months ago. And, I must say I miss my neckband. They're a hell lot more convenient. Hanging around your neck just snap apart and connected. With tws, take the box out, open it up, and put it in years while also holding the box, and all this on the run 🤷🏻♂️. Yes I bought tws for the trend. But it took me actually using it, for me to realise I value convenience much more than trend.
Hey, I switched from TWS to Neckband for the same reason. Currently, I am on an Oppo Enco M31, and its great. Its really convenient as you said. But the problem which I am facing with both is call quality, They are a miss and I am mainly using the TWS/Neckband for calling purposes only... Also which neckband supports connections with two devices(phone) at the same time. That's a killer feature to have...
My Sony WF1000XM3 TWS got a huge blow in terms of battery life. I have been using it for almost 2 years now. Even though in 1st year, I used it almost daily, nowadays it's more like 2 or 3 times in a week. Initially battery life was about 4.30 hours at max volume with ANC on but nowadays it is just over an hour to maximum 90 minutes. So, even though I could get to charge them 3 times through the case, I don't even get 5 hours before the case is totally empty anyway. So in long term use neckbands are better alternative in terms of battery life compared to TWS
@@xeyutipe Just an update, these days those don't even last 30 minutes in single charge. I have decided to change the battery by myself and see if it improves. Service center will deny to service it as it was purchased outside India after its global release but India got it about a year later.
I know these are the current trend. However, you have missed the over-ear headphones (like this 🎧). I think we should consider it instead of neckbands. They have their own advantages but less wire means less thing to worry. I'm just saying, what if there's only TWS and Wireless over-ear headphones. It would be amazing.
Also, over ear headphones are said to be better for your ears. In ear hve their speakers very close to the ear drums, that's not good for long term ear and hearing health.
@@user-cj9hf3st8f only the cheap ones. The good ones are expensive but can be worn for hours. Also, your mic comment doesn't really make sense, seems you just got a bad headphone, mic quality has nothing to do with whether headphone is over ear or in ear
@@adityapathak5761 it was a comparision bro. Like if u compare neckband with headphones of the same price. The neckband is better in call quality. And is really handy. Ps I have both
I use all 3....depends on usage scenario. For zero latency stuff, I use my Soundmagic E10Cs. They are great for music as well especially when you just want to sleep and listen to some good peaceful music. I use neckband (Realme) for my office calls as you can move around freely. I use TWS (nothing Ear(1)) for only with my phone or tablet for movies and music.
I use TWS for laptop (RU-vid and video calls) Neckband for mobile (mainly calls and music on the go) With this, I have the convenience if neckband on the go and TWS for a clutterless work experience. Also having two separate devices let's them connect to your device seamlessly, as there will be no need for a device to switch to laptop-mobile and vice versa
One point I think that was missed is that Neckbands can support dual pairing while TWS cannot since they first have to establish connectivity between the left and right earbud and then connect to the source device. Neckbands have an advantage here.
@@shahul8222 They connect to two devices simultaneously. It's a Bluetooth 5.0 feature. Helps when you are watching a movie on laptop and if you phone rings, the movie is paused and connection is shifted to phone. They can easily connect and switch between two devices at once
@@aayushsharma9386 bro I had LG neckbands in 2013 and they had dual pairing with vibration (hence you will know you're getting a call even if your phone is on silent or your phone disconnects i.e you forgot it somewhere) and retractable cable.
Im still sticking to Neckbands as its easy to maintain (atleast according to me). 1. TWS will be rendered useless if the charging case goes kaput. 2. With Neckbands, you wear it around your neck and go by your day. You will not feel you are carrying an extra thing. 3. Its easier to charge a neckband than a tws case. 4. Buttons>>> Gestures/taps. Prove me otherwise. I currenlty use Realme wireless 2 neo and RHA MA 390 doing the wired duty.
@@IndianTrainSimulator I use my realme buds wireless 2 necklace and they are perfectly fine. I have used it for one month and no issues still. It also has active noise cancellation and and the latency is very low. I am not even facing latency while watching videos or movies. Maybe in game there might be a slight delay (I don't play any games) so you can enable game mode.
I have personally used the Realme Buds Air, Boat Airdopes and trust me they don't last more than 6 months. Infact i had even availed the 1 year warranty but they just stopped working eventually. Finally shifted to a jbl neckband and never looked back. Truly Wireless Stereo ; truly not worth it!
I was also confused which to buy, TWS or neckband. I ended up buying both. I have realme buds pro and realme buds wireless. Good video, clean and straight to point. Good job TW team. 😊
I’m also having same confusion in buying earbuds or neckband. Can you please tell Realme earbuds or realme neckband which is good for calls. I’m planning to buy for office calls.
I am a guy, who loves using Wired Earphones due to its sound quality 😍. even if I have budget I'll definitely go for wired ones & hesitate to spend my money on wireless, but at some point while travelling you seriously feel the need of portable earphones
Yes . I use neckband to listen to music while riding. Since now a days phones don't have 3.5mm jack its difficult to use the USB type c to 3.5mm connector and keep the phone in your pocket !
Wowww! Just when i was bit confused what to buy between TWS or Neckband? And guess what Techwiser's Notification pops up on a Dedicated Video on the same!! Thank You Team Techwiser ❤️ You guys are really hardworking and Smart Content Creators, Kudos!!!
@@aadhi9540 1)buy neckbands if you need to take a lot of calls on the go. Like loads of bus/train travel, where wires can cause annoyance, and may even get torn. 2)buy TWS if you have specific usage scenario. Like you need to wear earphones under helmet while travel. And we Doctors need bluetooth tws at times while working. But remember that TWS earbuds don't last long. 6-12months max. 3) for any other use, music/games/casual usage.. always go for wired ones. A Rs600 wired earphone like Realme buds 2 has the same quality as Rs2100 Buds 2 TWS. And that too without the headache of charging and latency. 4) If you live in a not so hot/humid part of India, and need the best sound quality possible, and don't plan on travelling much, buy an over the ear headphone with a big sound driver (atleast 45mm). Remember, Idiots buy TWS to show off, a real music lover goes for quality.
After researching a lot, I found neckbands better than tws. With tws, you can't listen for long hours as they start causing discomfort after a certain point of time.
After using AirPods Gen 2 for for 4-5months they are not convenient at all for (local train especially) the passive noise cancellation is too bad and at least for me the fear of falling and losing is very present, but the call quality and the overall call experience is just outstanding apple just got calling right But I’m planning to go ahead and get a neckband with a magnet
If you're a heavy user (Using 14+ hrs) stay Away from wireless TWS/Neckband Both Have battery's Which degrade in time After a 1 yr of usage the one side of earphone will not work I had bullet wireless z and enco m31 My friend had the OnePlus buds (TWS) both had the same issue (if you're wondering who uses 14+ hrs I mean just connected to the phone all the time)
I'm using realme buds wireless neckband for the past 2 years, till now no issues whatsoever, and battery degradation is unavaoidable it is there in every electronic device which runs on battey.
I don't know what you people are even talking about but my bullet z is almost as good as new, and if you're buying a battery, battery degradation is inevitable unless you're in your fairyland.
I've been using neckband for over a year now, recently I got Airpods pro and I can't use them, They are so inconvenient, I always have to carry case, If I've to talk to someone or I need a short break I always have to find case first or to hold them in hand, I decided to go back to my cheap neckband,
I bought this too. After 7-8 months it stopped working because wire quality was shit. With time , the wire starting peeling off from joint areas. Can't even replace now because it will be considered as physical damage even though its not my fault.
For gym people, hands down neckbands are the best, in fact they were in the trend just because it could be used to gym and athletics so it can never be replaced by wired earphones or TWS.
I had LG tone hbs-730 in 2013 and they had dual pairing with vibration motor (hence you will know you're getting a call even if your phone is on silent or your phone disconnects i.e you forgot it somewhere) and retractable cable. I used both the OnePlus bullets wireless 1&2 (very impressed with the sound quality and battery life but disappointed with the lack of features at high price) eventually switched to the Galaxy buds plus and now huawei freebuds pro for getting the best out of my buck.
People usually don't talk about it but most TWS lose voice quality after a while... Even in branded ones! I had them! And they are really easy to loose... Not meant for when driving or riding a bike! I currently use the oneplus budz z, been over a year the audio quality is the same, easy to use while riding bikes or workout! And holds a charge of 20 hours! Plus you can connect it to your powerbank for a quick 10 minute charge that'll last you for more than a couple of hours! Go for the neckband!
Hey bro. Please suggest me best tws earbuds aur airpods under 3000 which do not fall off the ears while running and have decent sound quality. Are realme buds air 2 a right option ?
Yup beginners IEMs are in a league of their own. Used the RHA MA390u previously, switched to KZ ZSN Pro X now and stuff like boat, skullcandy, realme simply can't compete when it comes to music.
Are realme buds air 2 and dizo gopods same? Dizo gopods are right now at a great price of 2500 and realme buds air 2 is at 3k so which one should I buy? Please reply so that i can buy from this flipkart sale
I have bought realme buds air 2 for 2499 from Flipkart but now they are 3299, I hate that dizopods design in the ear, I like the stem design more so as per me realme buds air 2 are better😃
5:25 Neckbands offers more battery life in my opinion. The oraimo necklace pro offers 32 hours on a single charge with ANC ON and 50 hours with ANC off. No TWS can match that. Recent Necklace buds offers a better battery life. As someone who has used both for many years, Neckband is better for the following reasons. 1. Better battery life 2. Better call quality 3. More assured durability.
I travel on trains, so Neckbands are a no brainer for me. Good Battery, Really Good Price, Competitive Features, Good Calls Quality and almost impossible to lose. If you don't care as much about looks, Neckbands are a no brainer.
Why do i feel the whole video is sponsored by realme(dizol) Earlier you were recommending oppo enco buds and oppo m31 for neck band now why are you recommending this
Tws provides class to the one who is wearing it. I've seen many businessmen, officers wearing tws. Also in 5 star places, I've seen people wearing tws. I personally prefer neckband maybe because I have one, still tws have become a symbol of luxury and trendy fashion
I use both. OnePlus Buds and Realme neckband.. Trust me guys, neckband is a lot convenient. You don't need to worry about loosing one or both buds.. And battery life is 20 hours
I saw Boat 385v2 in the video, but didn't find any review in the channel. Let me know if it is worth it, at ₹1300 under offer. I liked the design (leather type material feels better in the longer run compared to plastic) and want superlong battery backup, multidevice pairing. Additionally, in 385v2 the slider on-off switch to compensate for the lack of magnetic buds on-off feature is enough for me. Let me know if it's worth it and good enough or is there any other better option in the price range. My main criteria for neckband earphones are: -dual pairing, superlong battery life, looks, magnetic on-off feature. Really love your approach while reviewing products. It gives better, comprehensive understanding of them which helps to take better decision while buying.
neckbands r good for online delivery riders ...yesterday I've buyed boult EQ charge bluethooth bass is awesome ..last few months I was confused which one to buy finally I came to BOULT AUDIO
@@ad_asquare I recently purchased Oppo Enco Buds and tbh its way beyond my expectations. I always preferred half in ear type fit rather than this type .. but this didn't disappoint me at all.
I just bought realme buds wireless 2, it’s pretty good but I had oppo enco m31 before this and I liked that better. I felt the oppo had better battery life though on paper the realme should be having more. Also the oppo is much more comfortable in the ears and easy to listen to while sleeping as it sits flush to the ears. The realme one bulges quiet a bit out and hurts while sleeping on the side.
@@ebinjohnphilip3953 thanks actually i like wired earphones/headphones but sometimes the wires become irritating 😂 so most importantly i want comfort and decent sound
I've sony Wi C200 since 3 years now and 1 year old Sennheiser cx 350BT. Both used for rough use, and they still beats my newer (6 months old) Samsung earbuds pro. Considering sony which cost me 1.6k-1.7k (i bought offline) to 16k of Samsung. They LITERALLY SOUND THE SAME. (Also tried OnePlus buds, OnePlus bullet Z, realme buds, samsung buds live, and all of these sounds trash. Indian consumer search for bass heavy earphones, but guys while chasing for the bass you lose clarity in vocals) I purchased TWS after watching many reviewers praising for its sound quality, bcz i value sound quality. And i thought Samsung would sound better for its price being so high, but i was disappointed. I went with the trend, but realised how much better are the neckbands, bcz over the time you'll appreciate the convenience that neckbands offer. But the history will repeat itself, when ppl will start using wired earphones, using charging port for the connection. Its bcz i still love my Sennheiser Cx 300s, sony MDR XB510 and Marshall Mode EQ over any wireless earphones. From my experience i realised, more experienced and dedicated companies that deal with sounds are better than these noobie phone manufacturers trying to enter the sound market.
I had a Oppo enco w31, it died after 1 year.. my realme buds air, dead after 2 months... soundcore liberty, conectiivty issues after 5 months.... galaxy buds, after 8 months works fine but range is now less than 2 meters
Disappointed to see how you completely ignored OnePlus neckband which is one of most popular neckbands right now, and it has one of best batter back ups and it charges uptp 100% in just 10 minutes and lasts for several days in normal usage. The Quick Switch feature that it has, one of the most convenient and practical features for people who constantly switch between mobile and computer.
Hi. At 6:18, You mentioned that you can't use one bud at a time when using neckbands. I've never had that issue... I do use one bud at a time, the left side, just fine during calls. However, I'm not familiar with the neckband that you are demoing, so perhaps it's a limitation with that one in particular, although still weird. I reverted to neckbands because of the TWS' discomfort and ease of loss. I like hiding the neckband under the collar as the buds are magnetic. Thanks for the video!
Hi bro Didn't u see the previous 1min from the timestamp u mentioned I will clear u He actually means that we can't use one bud on a neckband while charging but in the case of TWS we can use one bud while the other bud gets charged Hope u understood
I'm using boat 255f from 2 years & just bought mivi classic and I'm loving them btw I'm repairing earphones in my City people repaired there earphones they are so happy with it , 😁🙌🏻 I repaired around 60+ earphones and 9+tws headphones too

If you are using Bluetooth earphone then they have many problems like damaged wire , battery issue , dead speaker , i can change wire , speaker , and battery but some cases i can't found battery's for replacement because the case size , 1+, apple , Sennheiser company's like this they use there own battery and design , But still i prefer neckband because i like them that's my personal choice 🙌🏻

The correct answer is buy both. Both have uses. And please don't listen to just one TWS earbud, you're getting mono sound 😢 instead of stereo. Just take a break from listening or use wired/neckband for listening.
Main reason why People are shifting to tws is because it makes them feel like as if they are using something like an Apple Products (also it makes them feel that are following the fashion ) 2 as the name suggest it's TRULY WIRELESS some people don't even want a little bit of Wires
convenience. for people who move around a lot and dont want to carry the phone/laptop, tws is better since even with neckband the wire/band feels uneasy at times.
All three have their places, I use wired for gaming and indoor calls, Neckband for travelling and music, and my trusty Life Dot 2 tws while running. I used realme buds neckband while running for a year, and I hate it.
Only issue here to look out for is Boat, it's good brand with great deals but having bought all their products TWS, Headphones, Neckband and Even wired earphones. I'll say its a hit and miss company a lot of hardware failure due to improper design
I'll give everyone a good piece of advice if you care about your money and environment. Don't buy any of TWS or Neckbands. In my experience these two lasts only for a year after one of them stops working or battery health reduces to almost 0. Buy a good IEMs if you want incredible sound quality but with wires or buy a Over the Ear headphones if you want something wireless with good sound quality. Both of them will cost same as a budget TWS/neckband, will sound way better, won't require charging or frequent charging and will last forever if you take care of them.
