I believe Scaramouche was there because this cinematic is not us running through a memory, but rather just viewing on what has happened in the past as a whole. I'm not 100% confident however as the short raises plenty of questions regarding him with no official answer so its just an educated guess at the end of the day
iits just an animated short that shows her backstory so i dont think they reeally needed to take into account for what happened with scara. its not important
people still don't get the fact that Scara wasn't able to erase himself from the existence, he only changed the memories of the people, that was the whole point of his quest so he objectively existed back then we had only one instance of changing the past for real, and that was during Ei's story quest, when the Sacred Sakura was planted in the past with the help of Istaroth
@@Natsu even the previous dendro archon didn't truly erase her self, everything that happened still happened, no matter if anyone in the world or the world its self remembers it the way it happened. there is one true law for time travel/time alterations in genshin via irminsul. you can't change the past, only the memory of it. physical reality is unaffected. things carved into stone can not be altered by irminsul, even if its carved by people who's memory's of the past have been altered. there is still a single place in the game where the previous dendro archon's name remains even post erasure. its carved into the stone thrown in the eternal oasis. if the past were truely altered or erased, even that chair would have been changed. edit: and so along this line, the fact scara is in the video is important. with how extra careful they are with genshin's lore, its very important, cause if the video is cannon, then its one of the few pieces of lore that show the 100% truth of that happened. those are extremely rare both in game and even in other trailers. its worth remembering that scara's line about the knave seems to describe the previous knave, not the current one, which is strange if he was there when she became the knave. there are little bits of interest here to latch onto if you know where to look.
@@Goujiki yep, also that when she talks about who was at the event when she was made the knave, the only one she doesn't mention was scara, like he was deleted from the memory of that event or something... hmm
@@hazamax2139 ?? not really lmao. this was literally her lore her backstory. and its like he just seems so apprehensive about liking anything. idk its just odd
@@TheGamingTeam101Tgt101 And it's literally Sasuke, which he said. Emo vibe? Check Past genocide? Check Cursed shit for the power boost? Check Core values jaded but still there from said past? Check I'm not a genshin guy, I just heard her trailers are pretty much her quest so I watched out of curiosity and that was my take too. I'm not saying it's bad because I at least want to think her story is not over yet but that base they presented is actually pretty common in media. Sasuke is the easy one that comes to mind but a lot of characters are this edgy "Fuck the world I only care about those close to me." trope. It can be made into a good story. It's just that as a beginning it's not that interesting since what was shown in the trailer was pretty mild.
They made this cinematic just to show us what Signora and Scaramouche looks like wearing the harbinger uniform coat, coz we never got to see them in the original teaser.
the first freaking streamer that understands immediately why Clervie and Perrie had to fight. Goodness! I saw about ten reactions and all where "*gasp* whyyy?". Fair enough, i missed that point the first i time i saw it, too, (because for an unknown reason my video skipped to the middle of the video, idk why) but when you realize that it is told in the first 20 seconds and almost noone realizes it...
Huh, interesting, i didn’t know Genshin did Animated Shorts, have done that before or is this the First Time? If not, i hope they do more, like perhaps one showcasing the Twins’ Past?
This is a first for them. They realized Star Rails shorts were some of the most watched videos and rode the train (ironically HI3rd started all this years ago with full blown anime series)
@@MegaDuke4life Oh wow big shocker that three different games are all from Hoyo while all three have separate marketing and developer teams! Who'd have thought that the obvious was so obvious!
@MrShamus22 *4 games because that animation team also works on ZZZ. There are 3 different Hoyo developers and ONE animation studio thats usually paired with Wonderium and others. They not only work on trailers but assist for in game animations for all the games Also that same team you think they rode the wave of been making animation for Hoyo before Genshin and Star Rail was even public knowledge. Hell there was an anime teaser during Inazuma reveal they also made and that was way before Star Rail had a release date
Wait i just realized that Teyvat is christian? Arlecchino put a cross for her spider grave. Praise our lord jesus fucking christ! Plot twist: the abyss twin is dead and will resurrect just like Jesus, and bring peace to Teyvat.
Its theorize that she might be a outlander So she remember scaramouche And might been arrived in kahnrieah Due to the curse she has similar to that of a hilichrul
@@RolandLory Kaeya is a descendant of Khaenriahn bloodline he's not 'from' there. Same as Arlecchino I'm guessing, she's descended from one of the royal bloodlines of Khaenriah.
@@BamfCrossthat is still just a theory. theres a world quest in 2.1 where theres a child with black hand the same way as Arlecchino (yes she is not wearing gloves).he is cursed and at that world quest at the end he became a big hilichurl (the green anemo one)
We are able to see Scara there just because the consciousness of Arlecchino was created by the 3rd descender, its the most speculated accurate lore about her as far as I know, and because of that she has not forgotten Scara just like us (traveler)
