as far as i know, astra, harbor and skye are the alpha agents that are on omega earth looking for the city of flowers, which is the new lotus map. it’s gone on alpha earth so they’re looking for answers there. for the sage subplot, she never goes on missions bc their teams don’t want her getting hurt and not being able to revive her fallen teammates. she’s sick of being protected all the time so she’s practicing to not have to rely on her team to hold on her own. omen senses this and helps her out in the end, and he understands how it feels to be outcasted.

The only Alpha Agents in this cinematic are Astra and Harbor. I think Riot intended to show us that the Omega Agents are also just simple people. (at the Location Information at the beginning, you can see a little Omega symbol.) It also makes sense lore-wise because Astra and Harbor are on an expedition on Omega earth to find the "Nexus" aka "The City of Flowers" aka "Lotus" (The new Map). Harbors Bracelet is actually the Key to this place. (it appears to be an old artifact that belongs to this place and he used it to open the door. He found the Bracelet in an Animation called "TURN THE TIDES - Harbor Agent Trailer"). However, this place got destroyed on Alpha earth, so this cinematic has to take place on Omega Earth. The Nexus is some kind of connection between parallel universes or an interdimensional Hub or whatever. Harbor thinks that if the omega agents try to use the Nexus it would have fatal consequences for Alpha earth because they don't have the Nexus anymore (I assume it got destroyed by omega agents) so there is nothing "to absorb the shock". So Harbor made a Voicemail for Brimstone in which he asks him to organize a mission to find the Nexus on Omega earth and neutralize the threat. Definietly VP have not only Agents we know (As we see Legion's Fade attack someone that not Protocol's agents) but they are still a secret agency.
normally there's also Skye from Alpha Earth who later appears in the second map trailer but also appeared in a teaser earlier saying ''you guys go, I'll keep them busy" which is the reason why we dont see her in this animation
makes since and also a very interesting fact is that riot slowly entered the omega universe with each map, fracture was the bridg and pearl was the first map on omega and lotus follows right after
I don't know if you already have the info but Omen stepped in because he can sense Sage healing (or the "unbalance" it produces). You can see some frames just before Omen move his head from his bonsai, Sage just got hit and start to heal herself And we also know that because of in-game voice lines ("Sage, the life you give, did you even wonder where it's taken from ?" And "A radiant healer is with them, i can feel her pull against the natural balance"), both suggesting that Omen can feel Sage's healing in some ways
Such a beautiful cinematic. Btw apart from harbor and astra, the rest are from the other earth (omega). Fade infiltrated our earth (alpha) found out about harbor and astra's search for the Temple of Flowers in Omega-Earth, the new map. The map is important because it has lore connections to astra's gauntlet, harbor's cuff and possibly yoru's mask. They're relics from an ancestor group called "Gaurdians". The site from our Alpha-Earth was destroyed so the valorant protocol is trying to find the same site on omega, which their agents already control
To answer your question this cinematic takes place on earth Omega. Earth Alpha is normally being attacked but this time it is the other way around. Earth alpha is trying to take the radianite that was stolen by Omega back. This area is called the City of Flowers. It is a multiversal nexus according to Astra and Harbor. Earth Omega wants to open it although I'm sure you can guess why that is a bad idea. The only two people who can open it are Astra and Harbor.

Loved the reaction! Here's what you can know to understand this cinematic better! City of flowers "Lotus" Is the new VALORANT map where Harbor's weapon is from, and Harbor was curious about its origin. However, the city was destroyed in Alpha earth ( The earth Astra and Harbor in the cinematic are from ) So Astra gives the idea to go and check Omega earth to see if the city exists. From the cinematic, we can see Omen cutting a bonsai tree which is a reference to the map Split as the bonsai tree is the art of Japan and Split of located in Tokyo Japan. Then we can see Sage who goes to open her closet but her number is Agent 10, the numbers are based on when they were recruited by VALORANT. However in Alpha earth sage number is 7, so that gives us the idea that the recruitment is different in each earth. Another note is that the other agents, Agent 6-7-8-9 are marked with a red X, could be a possibility that they are dead in Omega. Then we see her go into the range of Omega, as it's a reference to EP4 Cinematic and to show how different is each base in each earth. In Alpha, we have a very happy and bright base, but in Omega, it's very dark and there's only Sage and Omen. We know from EP3 cinematic that Omega earth is more aware and has more knowledge than Alpha, so that could be why they're already preparing for the City of flowers! Then toward the end, we see Fade, Sage, KJ, Sage, and Jett, stop Astra and Harbor but why? Why don't they want Harbor to know its weapon origin? Then in the next Cinematic which is the Map gameplay trailer, it starts with the continuation of the Ep6 cinematic. There isn't much lore revealed there, however toward the end we understand that Omega Astra is a very scary and dark person. Very opposite to Alpha Astra! Astra and Harbor is trying to unravel the mystery about their Guardian Artifacts. Because the and the only way to understand, is to visit the Lost City "Lotus" but the Alpha's Lost City is already flooded and ruined, so they headed to Omega, cause it's possible that it is still in good condition. little did they know, Alpha Fade had a dark vision, listen to it, it's a good voice mail that Fade sent to Brimstone.
"There's the same agents in Alpha and Omega" well yes but no, agent 8 doesn't exist altogether in Omega Earth since his locker is missing in the cinematic, while in the Alpha headquarters there's a locker with the number 8 even if it's scratched and we don't know about the agent
The omen scene with the tree only reminds me of the scene from The Ruiniation book where erlok grael gets promoted. I don't know it it's on purpose but it's really cool either way
The first Valorant video took place in Alpha Earth where Valorant team from Omega Earth which is Valorant Legion invade Alpha Earth for Radianite. Remember this keywords: Alpha Earth has Kingdom Corp and Valorant Protocol meanwhile Omega Earth has Kingdom Industry and Valorant Legion. The reason why Val Legion invade Alpha Earth is because they need radianite so they can use it for everyone life support in Omega Earth. They have better tech than Alpha Earth has that's why they can easily travel from dimension to dimension. Peoples in Omega Earth honor Valorant Legion team for all the contribution they did to support everyone despite having a nature disaster all over Omega Earth. On the other hand, Alpha Earth tech are far behind. All the agents in Valorant Protocol are doing their job as criminal prevention until the Valorant Legion start invading. Valorant Legion is the name of the Omega Valorant teams. Valorant Protocol is the Alpha group's name. Therefore, Alpha Earth (the one with more radianite) sent out Astra and Harbor (which both have Guardian artifacts on them) to explore Lotus (a new map that I think has something to do with the Guardians). Omega Earth's Valorant Legion detected this and got sent out to defend Lotus from Alpha Earth's Valorant Protocol.
id love to see a relationship paradox between the agents, like one agent, lets say yoru, is with sage in the omega universe and another agent in the alpha universe then have em come together and get all mixed up. make sense? probably not xD
actually in this cinematic, Alpha(here Skye, Harbor, and Astra) are the ones invading Omega(Sage, Omen...) It goes to show that Omega earth are also normal people and there's no good or bad side in the conflict. Just 2 Universes trying to survive
