Necromancer's Guide to 100% - 999% Telos 

Up until like 500% or so, so much power is basically the only thing that can kill you, and once you get really comfortable, you'll dodge so much power altogether.

You can stall the so much power by keeping telos stunned during the second font. That's what the soul strike and t90 spec are for. Death mark deals with the 3rd font p4 so just cast bloat as soon as you can coming out the 3rd font

anticipate as soon as p5 starts, if you get stunned during your damage rotation, freedom and you'll be chillin

If you have log, you still need double malletops to activate the tier 2 perk. A single malletops with log doesn't count for tier 2. The reason why I went a bit more quickly this time around is because I was using t90 gear, the idea is that I would be experiencing way more mechanics than you would in max gear, and the next tier of telos (1k-4k) should only feasibly be done in max gear otherwise you're gonna have a bad time. You never experience green virus either way, black virus has no consequences, and how you deal with red beam doesn't really matter until 1k+ anyway. In the next guide, it will be significantly more detailed because that level of detail is required since any single mistake will be your death. Hope that explains some of the choices I made

Swapping to a shield will cause your abilities to deal less damage, and your summons will despawn unless you use a necromancy shield which is currently only available as T75.

what mars said is correct. your necro shield doesn't give you more barricade time, so there's no reason to give up damage from your off-hand
