I just got an idea - I have loads of the older Cadian Shock Troops sprues, maybe I could get a couple of the Achilles Ridgerunner kits and make a Necromunda Tertiary PDF Long Range Ash Wastes Patrol kind of thing.
This is probably my favourite build that you've done. Great piece, about as close to the source inspiration as it could be. Plenty of details to find, and enough flat places to put minis. Ticks all the boxes for me 👍🏻. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with for the wastes.
I think that’s now my favourite piece of your terrain for Necromunda and I love your Sump series. It looks so cool. The drift of the sand against the Ridge Hauler is so atmospheric and you can feel the sand blowing against your face. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
This piece reminds me of the Kenner "Star Wars" playsets my brother and I had when we were little, these were stylized and had places for figures to stand and they really fired my imagination, which is what your terrain builds do as well. I think you've found a really good balance between the artwork that inspired this and having a piece that will be useful for the tabletop.
I'll be honest, I wasn't sure on this one for the first part. I'm usually sold on your creations so early on. In the end however, this turned out so incredible. Great work and great inspiration.
Outstanding piece of terrain! I think you captured the piece of art as well as you can without going into a MASSIVE diorama piece. Would love to see some pics of that on the tabletop in use.

Great piece, lots of inspiration for my AW board. You do realise you’re now obliged to a AW gate for sumptown - I am envisioning a massive board transitioning from sump to give to wastes 🤩
Looks great and I really like your 'Ash Wastes' colour. Let me know if you plan to make that scenery piece we discussed and I will make it too. The detail looks great. What about a bed roll etc inside the container?
Yeah Nomads don't care for vehicle wreckage, only need bullets and prometheum gas to cook bug meat/egg/cheese or perhaps for fueling water purifiers. If the helamite is like a flea they could have a pupation stage where they could be kept dormant indefinitely until a need of more mounts.
Class is that Tim. Inspired me some more as always. I defo need to be braver using more sand on my builds. Take a look at cork bark for some quick and easy cliffs/rocky formations with loads of detail. What's your opinion on it?
@@magratheabuilderofworlds7141 Aye yeah I assumed you would have (wasn’t trying to teach you to suck eggs 😅) I found a decent place that’s not too expensive be found so far. Perhaps for some of the larger bit my imagination can’t think of anything to do with but they also do bundles of smaller bits that are perfect for what is essentially scatter formations or for cliff sides. That’s what I’ve done anyway. Just about to start an AW fuel depot piece with some of these, the new promethium tanks and some KT pieces amongst others. Probably won’t hit the gaming table until the next campaign in Feb though such is my build speed haha
