Owen did well. But he made fatal mistake. YOU DO NOT CHARGE GOLIATHS! Shoot them, pin them than retreate with caskets. Than repeate. With cass and toxic they should be able to down a lot of goliaths before they get close.

All fighters out of action are 1 victory point in the rule book for this scenario. Does this mean that Owen actually won?

I've been waiting for the new compilation to come out. The rules are so all over the place it's been a pain keeping up with revisions and what's 'right'. Once I've got the big double edition I'll be back to it. :)

a great example of how esher shouldve won but cool checks are horribly unbalanced for the "board game" version of this game

+No, they don't! That's the problem! They have to bring assault and lasrifles against Toughness 4 to keep their range advantage. The poison weapons that are supposed to circumvent the Goliaths' toughness are grenades, a flamer and _knives,_ so you have to move within charge, if not melee distance to use them! And if the target happens to have a respirator, the gas weapons only wound on 6's!

Quit crying, the game is just fine, a bit of imbalance makes a game fun, esher almost wrecked the goliaths... if you want a 100% balanced game then play goliath vs goliath, or checkers

Wildboy789789 actually every battle report ive seen the esher gang player looks like and sounds like theyre so defeated they wanna flip the table. its no fun to completely outplay your opponent and never win

Eshers would need at least Cool 6 to have a real chance in this.

MWG's is the most recent. BUT 1) that was Esher vs Delaque, not Esher vs Goliath, and 2) it's not going to be the last.

Another batrep, another Esher loss. Still yet to see them beat the goliaths. Serious rebalancing desperately needed.

Thomas Bailey , no its not... the board game balance is off, but the 3d balance is perfect... goliath are made to win melee and they don't break, on a 3d board if esher are 20inchs up a tower and shooting at you, do you want your big melee gangers breaking, no never... on a 2d board where ur always in charge range yes it's OP, but think before u ask them to ruin the game
