No, that wasn't warped at all, not ever. The Lovecraftian elements were nicely incorporated, but did I really want to know where those tentacles were coming from?! I enjoyed this, and if it's ever released on Blu-ray I'd consider getting it so that I could see it all the way through, preferably with English subtitles all the way through.
Since I really don't know Japanese, this kinda didn't make alot of sense but I can still say I enjoyed it and the series as a whole. 10/10 will watch again when all 4 are subbed :)
