Escape by Necros (real name Andrew Sega) info from file: "Escape" by Necros / FM for the channel7 game "G R E E D" loop points at 0-18 20-35 37-52 54-71 73-88
I have finally discovered that the music in the Doom WAD "Beyond Reality" wasn't original. Only through looking at the audio in OpenMPT did I find the name of each track that led me here. Still the best music I've ever heard in a Doom WAD.
This together with Point Of Departure was the first music module I discovered! Seeing these files openable with Winamp was interesting! BTW, the game was "In Pursuit Of Greed" and was an FPS, this track was the shareware version's ingame music (5 stages)
There's 2 versions of this track 'out there'. One truncated at 2:28 (presumably for better track looping, in-game) and this version. I can't remember which version was in the full game vs. the shareware demo, as it's over 20 years ago since I played (and ripped the tracks from) it. The game was pretty poor if memory serves. Think Bad Doom / Rise of The Triad mish-mash with a futuristic tilt. The music on the other hand was AWESOME, and what got me into Amiga module music in the first place.
What Doom mod? :) Give me the name, please. ZDoom mods are the best, because ZDoom allows MOD music to be played, like in "Zen Dynamics" (another good mod).
