Ned Kelly will always be a hero to me, he stood up against tyranny from the English ruling classes and helped the poor in his community. As a person of Irish stock and a Kelly myself I’m so glad he had the send off he deserved. RIP Ned
Ned Kelly did not help the poor in the community, and that included his mother and sisters, as they lived in poverty all their lives. There is significant evidence that Kelly robbed the poor in his community, often taking their only work horses, effectively sending them bankrupt. English ruling class, you say? Three of the early premiers in Victoria were IRISH, and 82% of the police were IRISH. You are repeating myths.
