Neda Morakabati, a graduate student in Dr. Eitan Schechtman‘s lab, received the 2024 Jared M. Roberts Memorial Graduate Student Award. This video features a two-minute elevator pitch about her research, which she presented during the 2024 CNLM Award Ceremony on May 9, 2024 at the Irvine Improv.
Morakabati’s talk is titled, “Electroencephalography (EEG) mind reading: How machine learning can classify categories off your neural networks.”
The UC Irvine Center for the Neurobiology of Learning (CNLM) offers awards to exceptional postdoctoral researchers, graduate trainees, undergraduate students, and Faculty Fellows.
