Every video gives each car a unique personality: Italdesign Cala: The bad guy Nazca C2: He goes for what he wants to, no matter what it takes Ferrari F50: The hero Ferrari F355: Introverted but with great nature Ford Mustang Mach III: The most fun car you can drive on the entire planet, he is the best Ford GT90: The monster Ford Indigo: Strong temperament Jaguar XJ220: The perfect lady, beautiful and with great kind Mclaren F1: The hunter, be careful with him Lotus Esprit V8: Cautious and intelligent Lotus GT1: The enthusiast who gives everything of him
Because back then manufacturers had the balls to make such outrageous and crazy concept cars, unlike today's 4 cylinder hybrid shit that everyone is doing.
GT90 had pretty limited R&D for the ambition to beat McLaren F1, as well for giving it 1/6 price of what the F1 was worth at the time, they basically just put two V6 together and give it 4 turbos, but then they removed the turbos since it could break the car easily and making it 300HP less than what it should have, still it's a really well made prototype with the timeless design after 25 years of it's first appearance
Jonas H. I once found the RU-vid channel of the guy who actually made the songs for NFS but sadly there is no full versions all the songs were made just 30 seconds long other then the menu and racing soundtracks while in the game.
Man, this is nostalgia. I remember drooling over these showcase videos, watching the cars from every angle, listening to amazing music, and learning about the cars along the way. :) Maybe NFS will bring this style back in its games one day.
OMG I played it with my dad as well!! XD At first I kinda forced him into it, but then he started linking it :p (Of course, I would mostly win or let him win :p)
same. I was literally 1, but remember at age 3. he was a software developer and a nerd so he got a new graphics card and sound card and was blown away by this game.
I love it in teh intro video when the McLaren F1 drove by and leaves just fligh up in the air, and don't now how do say it, but it gave me some goosebumps :)
Much love for this title and its epic car videos. Growing up as a kid, Hotwheels, and game titles like these sparked me to dream about cars! Feeling nostalgic in April, 2020.
Lotus GT1! My favorite car of NFS 2. Not the best-looking nor the fastest, but boy, it has such a stellar handling in the game. Won the advanced/hard difficulty tournament and knock-out with it!
This game introduced me to the McLaren F1 as well! Such a legendary car! I had no Idea that there were so few McLarens in the world when used to play this game, I just assumed that anyone could have one :D
This was my first game. I was only 5 years old when I playing this game on my windows 95. Cala was my favourite car thanks to my interest to the yellow color. But now, my favourite isJaguar XJ220. No doubt.
Saki Wasn't the only, I was fortunate enough to meet his soul twin, Jeff Dyck. He made as many songs as Saki, he was his best friend. To get an idea he entirely made the Ferrari F50 song. Half music was done by Saki and half by Jeff, both were collaborating with each other. There was also other artist like Romolo Di Prisco and Koko productions. I thanked him the entire night for making stuff that will be soldered on my memories till the day I die, too bad I couldn't do the same to Saki, he was a true master. RIP
Hey! where's Isdera commendatore 112i? 🤔 I remember that car but you missed it in the video. Btw, thankyou for refreshing our childhood memories. 🙂 thumbs-up for the video. 😊
So sad there was no video for that awesome car in the game BUT in 1999 there was a news item on it in Europe which is basically a showcase for the car - and it's on RU-vid!!!!
I remember played this game on my old 386 PC without sound years ago because my PC did not have sound card.Untill a couple months my dad brought a soundcard, damn childhood memories
i completely agree with everyone.. these kids nowadays have no idea that these were simulation/racing games. i honestly hated everything after 4. the handling especially. NFS2SE were my favorite memories. i even had a wheel for it being real young. brings back good memories.
Vids from the game of my youth :D how many nights i played it till the morning then deciding its not worth going to sleep and sleept in the classroom sitting in the first row right infront of the professor waking myself up with my own snore hahaha thanx for upload i tryed to extract those vids from the game but never figured out how
Great decision by the devs to include those real videos showcases, because after these videos you had the complete picture in your head, how the cars really look like, because the GFX in 1997 were.. well, you know. I think they went even further in NFS III and there was some kind of 180-ish panoramic camera mode of the cars interior.
jish b There was no video for the Isdera in-game, only a showcase of info + pictures. That is because the car is so rare and the company making it is a small workshop in Germany, they just couldn't get a video.
yeah and the showcase at 6:02 it used to haunt me i was scared to watch it lol, there is something creepy about this showcase and we brothers used to make fun that if you used that car some ghost will haunt you that night
7:20 !!! FINALLY i found my top favorite vid of the whole game. uncountable how often i watched this one. the slow classic style beginning turning into the rock stuff. i loved it so much!
When the F1's doors fly up and the lights go on I get a rush through my entire body! in 1 second the car says "I'm the king" it's so cool I love this game, shame the passion has faded alot from the NFS series
Even in the most realistic setting they still werent really. I'm surprised I forgot to mention it but NFS Porsche Unleashed wasn't too bad - I know throttle-off oversteer was simulated (kinda had to be given the cars being represented) and the upgrade model was reasonably detailed (a lot better than NFS4's "kits").
my fav showcase was 2:45 altho i didnt use that car much but its showcase i liked it a lot, then after that on second position was 8:11 because mclaren f1 was the most powerful car in game lol and the showcase really looked classy with black mclaren, then on third position was 5:11 i liked it because i used to think about going on a ride with a girl in my class i had a crush on her lol
No. I really know exactly that they could be provided by hd. cuz there are hd versions on youtube! so dont give him thumps down only because you dont know this fact!
@NoVideoxD The same guys that made the Cala (designers) did the Murc. and the Gallardo. If I recall the cala was supposed to be a real production car, but got cancelled in favour of what turned out to be the Gallardo.
NEED FOR SPEED 1 nad 2 VIDEOS ARE GREEEAAAT YEEEEEAAAHHHH!!!!!!! :-))) ...proč někdo nepředělá starou Need for Speed (1995) do dnešní grafiky? To byla nejlepší závodní hra jakou jsem kdy hrál!
@hantonyshaw you were the director of all those? all of 'em? for real? you're joking right? are you serious? if were, those shots were fucking amazing!!!!!! if u were the director though, why didn't you at least shoot the Isdera Commendatore 112I in the studio? I've always wondered that 'cause there was no video for it in its car page.
