Theo! Letting go of the gas (NOT COMPLETELY) just a little bit while your tapping the brake also helps while drifting, especially during tight corners and such. I feel like I've almost mastered drifting in game at high speeds with this technique.
The problem I got when in a Drift Car was that when I was doing Gymkhana that my car would dart off on its own when I went over 80mph. The drift cars are too unrealistically unstable, and a lot of people who were watching my stream on Twitch said they felt the same about it. Maybe you could relay the message on to NFS to make it more stable at higher speed drifts?
Anyone else getting a lot of snap oversteer at slow speeds even with down the middle tuning on the trial? It's making the game very unplayable for me to the point I had to consider running a full grip set up just to play a fun race. This problem even happens when I don't fully have the pedal down. It seems planned like they wanted weight transfer initiation to be a thing but it seems to behave like brake drifting (Rivals). If I pull left but the car barely moves (which it does barely move) then press right, the rear end will kick out but I'll still be drifting straight forward or sometimes the car will just straight up wash out. With things like this it's just not really playing out fun.
Hey Pantha, did you get the skyline to sound like it did in that Gamescom (i think it was gamescom) yet? I've looked at a whole bunch of other videos and I haven't seen someone pull it off yet.
a little tip for everyone who doesnt have alot of drifting experience. MPH is not what you want to evolve around. 1/4 mile (s) not s big impact for drifting IMO. Top speed now this can be kind of helpful. Try getting it up but not so much that its what you are focusing on. Horsepower (HP) THIS IS KEY! the more HP the more you will hold a stream when drifting. Get your hp up as high as possible and when your taking the tight corner and would usually slow down alot more this is where the HP gives you that little push to get more points and Rep. Make sure you get Nitrous (Action one is best if you drift) and last of all. Get your car LOW as possible. Body kits, upgrades (Cosmetic) make absolutely no impact so go wild on that and most of all. When you start a drift and are pitching at a hard turn use your nitrous than to keep away from the wall coming up behind you. If you find your self getting to close to the wall with your bumper just tap the break and E if at worst. Hope this helped!
I just realized something in ar12's video he got an s15 widebody against an rx-7 and said it was probably theo in this video he is in an rx-7 against a widebody s15
just found your channel and i'm a fan now, but i got one question, it seems like when im preparing to drift my car starts sliding without me even being ready or hitting breaks? i havent played need for speed in years so i dont know if they added a mechanic where if you turn right then left quick it will initiate a "drift turn" and the car will go into a drifting "mode" or is it just my car that needs more tuning
Did you say the best way to drift is to tap the hand brake and brake buttons. does that mean push both at the same time or are you saying push either or?
+BlackPanthaa dude your awesome. I got the need for speed trial and it is great. You deserve millions of subscribers. My name is Donovan and I am a subscriber. You're funnier than slap train.
Damn, the Mental Block event is killing me. How on earth is 850k possible. That's more than twice the required points for the previous hardest task in the game. :(
+Diamondminor9 idk what he said but I doubt it was warranted and needed to be said, if you don't like something then just unsub and move on, this guy actually cares about his subs and replies, how many other youtubers do that? and if he deletes it then he can it's his channel
+☆кυωαιтι - єαgℓє☆ I had a long list of pros and cons about this game and he deleted it because it doesn't agree with his selling tactics to try to get ghost games more buyers for the game, or cuz it will hinder the "hypetrain" so to speak...
Ill switch to action nitros onve I know I confidently can drift or it's just a Hassel in a race trying to get nos back and also trying to stay in front
Is there anyone else here that STILL thinks that blackP wasn't holding drifts long enough at the end of the video ? Like my style is drift the ones where you're really sideways through an entire curve and instantl chain it up and keep em going. it seems like the game makes you drift sorta slow or regrip the road. idk..just my opinion
It would be nice to be able to test the car in the garage instead of having to go through multiple loading screens just to test one little adjustment...
It would be nice honestly but they won't add anything anymore since it's been out for quite some time. I just started on it about a week ago but I honestly love it because it reminds me of being a little kid and playing underground 2
Does anybody know how to get that drop down spoiler that connects onto the back bumper of the Nissan 180sx? I see it in pictures but it is not an option in the game?
