Wow this is simply insane how much work was put into NFS Carbon and how you are able to find it now! If there's one game I want to see rebuilt and fully completed, its NFS Carbon. Its kinda sad how much was cut from the game though since the actual game is quite short in its storyline, but these videos show that the game was meant to be pretty long
2:34 see this carefully.. this scene is from the cutscene which is played when we start the game where kenji gives introduction to territories and canyons. The aston martin is very similar to that cutscene..
@@Speedyheart I wanted to ask you mentioned in the video you were using a tool to look at cutsences especially those that are beta cutsences whats the name of the tool and also you have the beta cutsences on file there fun to watch ^-^
Speedyheart Yeah. If the game wasn't leaked in it's early alpha, the early alpha will most likely never get released to the public, unless somebody stole a copy of the early alpha.
Very interesting. I love these beta hunt sort of things. There's an interesting thing I've found recently, from a comment in another video, where in the Quick Race track "Salazar Street", if you have the number of opponents set to 1, and turn the crew members off, you get put in a strange boss race against a Golf R32 using Sal's vinyl. Apparently, this was a cut boss from the game that wasn't entirely removed, and he was supposed to be the former leader of a now-defunct crew Sal was a part of. He's easy as hell, though. I had a Corvette and just whooped his ass into the double digits of split time, despite the difficulty being on Hard.
Probably was supposed to be an early game race. Pick a Tier 1 or Tier 2 car instead of a Tier 3 car to face him. If you choose 2 opponents you have a Dodge Charger using Sal's vinyl in addition to the Golf. Likely designed to be a crew race where you have a crew member on your team as well. MOST MYSTERIOUS THING: THERE IS A CHRYSLER IN NEED FOR SPEED CARBON THAT LET'S YOU ESCAPE AT THE BEGGINING BY OPENING A PATH WHILE BEING AN UNDERCOVER POLICE... BUT THEY NEVER EXPLAINED WHO IT WAS OR WHY HE DID THAT

Some additional info: The transitions in the canyon videos weren't edited in - To view those kinds of transitions in any NIS, you have to enable both visual treatment and motion blur. (very strange, i know) ENDINGCAREER03 actually has 9 camera tracks (0 - 8), which showcases different viewing angles.
+Speedyheart Who knows what their original plans were though? Then again, you do have a point, since I think the car type factions were thought out long before LeSamurai was even thought of. Still, it just feels like there should be more to it than that. Like Scorpios, because of the Lancer in the intro. It feels like there was a whole other story that we haven't really scratched the surface of (Kinda like MW2011's theory behind the beta wallpapers). Then again, those are just my random assumptions.
Royster01Gaming the book has the answers. you drive the scopios lancer on that night and fall off the canyon. something hospital coma 2 years later you wake up and forget nikki and go with mia and then stuff happens and then more stuff happens and then the events of the supra race in nfsc happen and then nfsmw happens and then nfsc happens :V story helps to explain somethings but the games changed the story too. so use it as a guideline
So this is why carbon felt like such a short game compared to others, it was definitely intended to be bigger but they had to rush it for some reason, probably because of EA wanting to cash in on NFS' massive popularity at the time and get a game out every year on time while that popularity still lasted.
one of the biggest letdowns of carbon was your crew, besides the fat dude having no character models. i hope someday, the NFS modding community manages to crack that and add models for them. Both carbon and MW were the best and last good NFS games
@@user-lp2ll9kh3j But shift is more like New game to me - The Real NFS feeling is Illegal Street Races, cops, Beautiful Girl's, Nightlife, the Shift series was good, but never good for name "Need For Speed"
You can find a unused starting line, South located At angies territory where you can get through a glitch with bussstop. Its a red startline, and some lights which look like a bridge or street which goes out of the city

This is awesome!!!!! :OOOOO There is enough space for theories now !!! :D Have u realised that the scene where Kenji comes with the white RX-7 is also the intro from the game? In the intro u see the aston martin from behind and how kenjis lights gets on. Then he drives to the Aston Martin and does that ultimate drift.
Maybe the Cut NIS which is Match to the MOVIES(Cutscenes) Might be used to render it to the final game. Like the Canyon intro NIS The Developers made it so they can finally render it and make it a vp6 file. And Most Wanted there is cut NIS that Starts with FMV and it is also used to render the MOVIES(Cutscenes with Blacklists) like FMV20T1 that has the cutscene with your BMW M3 GTR is with Razor and racing with Sonny,Earl and Taz and he turns back. They used the NIS with camera during development and Rendered it to the Final Game, Also Removing the camera offsets but not the file, Resulting for the camera to be on the back of your car.
One question I have to ask is how you keep a steady driftline in the news van? And how do you get the news van, secondly. I use the Charger SRT/Evo IX for Drifting,

Hey speedy! What do You think. Freeroam canyon roads when we use ool have traffic, rivals and police. Unfinished canyon doesn't have it. So canyons road are supposed to be included in Palmont roads or be able to freeroam?
+Mr Martinovsky unfinished canyon is the place where they imported canyons before moving them. in the ps2 demo gold valley run appears there. the unfinished lookoutpoint has no ai paths or anything (thats why the roads dont appear on the radar)
I wish they would of made it more of a longer game. I didn't feel satisfied enough when I beat Darius. Also could use more selection of cars. But, yeah I had the feeling this game was rushed or had some imperfections they weren't able to work in. I don't know what happened but maybe they will do a throwback of the game. Do it the way the wanted to originally. Just with better cars :P
+lo6o fun i created an application which lets me select a .nis and then it launches the game and directly puts me into a condition where that nis is loaded
lo6o fun yes. they may even be incorrect amount of cars (eg for scenes with more than 4 or 8) also there might be too many cars and stuff can go wrong then too
Could you find hidden files in nfs prostreet maybe? I know it's not that popular of an nfs game but I really liked it...and it came after carbon so just wondering

+Speedyheart Mystery City is just a term for how it was going to be arranged for the boroughs, and then they were separated instead of being in one place.
