This new Need For Speed is still not as good as the original Need For Speeds (in my opinion), but it's getting there. They're definitely headed in the right direction.
I agree. I feel like they need to add some fundemental things like being able to hop into online race lobbies instead of the only option being free roam activities. I think that casual and ranked races available from the menu would really help the lifetime of this game and give people more to do. And maybe a few other minor fixes. But overall, such a solid and fun game.
@matthew clark Ohh yes. I Figured the game a little better out and in my opinion you have the best chance with ultimate parts. I done it with the lancer Evolution x and without Mini map. I upload a Video to my channel when you wanna See it 😉
Tips for pursuits: I am a human encyclopedia. 1. Stay in the city. DO NOT go into the highways unless you have a fast vehicle. You WILL get wrecked in no time. 2. Make sure the cops DO NOT touch you on the last repair. Take turns and go down side roads and constantly make turns into random areas so they won’t touch you. As you may need this health when heading back to the garage or in case you may have to renter the pursuit again. 3. If you’re low on health, don’t risk rhinos. 4. Get familiar with the map before you even do a pursuit to ensure your escape route. 5. Rhinos won’t do much damage so you don’t have anything to worry about except if your damage is critical as you’ll need it for the whole pursuit unless you have more repairs or a repair kit that’s filled up. 6. Only use the repair kits in emergencies. 7. Go to the gas station earlier cause if you’re at 20% and the cops ran you it will go down really fast, and so go there before your damage gets to 1% so if the cops ram you, you’ll make it there without being damaged out, as the cops know that the gas station refills your health, and so they will prevent you from reaching it and may ram you to a fine. That’s another thing about these cops is that they KNOW that ramps and gas stations can aid you and they WILL prevent you from reaching it especially. 8. Going into the woods won’t actually work. Unless your vehicle is off-road or speedcross. 9. I would recommend having the damage increase passive auxiliary upgrade along with a repair kit. 10. I would also stay near a ramp especially ones above water just in case you may need to end the pursuit early if you loose too much health. 11. The sides and the back are their weak spots. And YOURS too. Make sure they do not have the chance at hitting you from there at all. 12. I would recommend staying near gas stations in case you need an emergency repair. 13. Try to avoid areas that reset you as much as possible, which is why you should memorize the entire map so you know where you are, and don’t make any mistakes. 14. Go to either the shopping center and go onto the roof if you’re in trouble. Remember the cops still may chase you, on the roof and if you have to jump off and then get back on. 15. Do not risk it if an object looks like it may be solid or breakable or neither. Don’t break through it if you don’t know for sure as trees that are breakable and ones that aren’t cannot be distinguished between the two. 16. When dodging rhinos, go really fast straight and then abruptly turn so they won’t have enough time to turn into you. 17. If possible, push the first 3 heat level cops into the water so you can get up to heat level 5, and wait till that time to get physical and have a wreckfest so you’ll have a reason to get physical with them as you’ll be going at fast speeds trying to make sure they stay away from your rear and sides if you wanna save some of your health when you’re trying to get to a gas station early. 18. Corvettes are the most dangerous cops. Make sure they don’t hit you from the rear. 19. Stay out of the oncoming lane if possible as you need to keep your health as less damage as possible. 20. It actually IS possible to get physical with the cops like the old days worry-free in this game too, as you may or may not get damaged if you hit them from the side or the rear. It’s just because this game is slightly glitchy and the detection system may need some work in a future update, so if you wreck or get busted it may not be your fault, and plus you’d just pay a fine. 21. Just specifically have a “pursuit night” only so you won’t have much to risk. 22. When in doubt. Remember. Being wrecked or busted is **NOT** the end of the world, it is a game, and not to mention there’s no serious consequences for you or your cars getting busted, AND you know that you can always redo that same pursuit as the cops will always spawn in that little drift zone near the far southeast side of downtown Palm City, and you can go back there and do it all over again and again until you get it right. and be able to finally have a successful escape.
Yo DCA what would you suggest? Crew 2 or NFS Heat? Considering I have already played crew 2 quite a bit during its launch on Xbox but I don’t have access to it anymore.. planning on getting one of the 2.
Still shite compared to most wanted 2005. The cheesy cop lines, arcade drift heavy driving style and the tacky HUD kill it. I don't want to see a cops health. And the cops can't even keep up. How hard is it to take the best from most wanted 2005 and underground 2 to make a great game? Without the fluff and cheesiness.
For any newcomers I'd highly advise staying in the city when in higher heat levels (4-5). The country side just has way too much traffic and the roads are too skinny to avoid them and all the magically spawning cops that spawn right in your face at speeds of 300km or more.
Especially to dodge Rhinos, in the countryside unless you throw the car off-road they will hit you, in the city you can just turn into the nearest perpendicular street,
More like HP2; Because they'll go on low number of units but they are deadly smart to catch-up. Undercover its just a MW's Dumb drunken-army Cop's AI but very full of bugs.
Getting some very heavy NFS: Most Wanted vibes. Which was actually one of the last NFS games that I played a whole ton and liked it. Though gotta admit I was hoping for something... fresher? But this might be a good one. Gotta keep an eye out :)
They weren’t lying when they said ai that adapted to the situation, they delivered well, I’ve found they adapt well where they try to force you into spikes, push you into rhinos, and box you in to help an officer trying to kill switch, I like it 👍
I had to search up if anyone else was experiencing intense cop chases and I found this video. I risked it all in a night with my E92 M3 and I earned 500,000 REP in one night. God only knows how I even made it home.
"Please dont test your runflats on the spike strips" do cops even have runflats? also part of the fun with Hot Pursuit 2, a game I still play to this day is you could actually trick some of the cops into hitting them and you would hear them say as much. Hell even thinking about it, the only real problem with that game was the rubberbanding got really bad at times, the hitboxes for the traffic was abit overdone as it was either you hit or miss them when you got close, no scuffing them, but that could also work to your advantage as if you had extreme handling chose, you could trick them into crashing into the traffic just by drifting the car abit, and then the helicopter was a straight up bond villian that you could never quite get rid of despite literally having the aston and the bmw from nightfire and agent under fire respectively in the game lol. but other than that, it was a damn near perfect game that I still play to this day on my PS2 to relax, this I just cant see that being its legacy.
Wish you could get unlimited repairs at night and DCA did you see the old school cars from our childhood as unlockables 😩 that shit crazy lol really took me back to the original Xbox
I still hate how they ruined both NFS and Burnout by combining them a while back, and more recently how they're not letting the actual devs have the Burnout franchise back. Why do people still buy EA games tbh? didnt we all agree they're the worst publisher, something like 10 years ago?
Is there an ost for the music when you get into a chase? It also seems that the music changes depending on your heat level or amount of cops chasing you, not really sure.
Love the game and I like that the cops are aggresive but it's bullshit they can destroy ur car and you don't have a way of fighting back without damaging the car. I lose them by doing the jump in DT Palm
I love the open freedom of the heat map, but I miss my NFS Carban pursuits. Heat pursuits are more like chases, Carbon pursuits were more like battles.
Too much tacky fluff. EA seem incapable of capturing what made the greats like most wanted and underground so good again so I think the best we'll ever get is a remastered most wanted 2005.
This is like a disney kids movie. Wtf happened to the need for speed I knew and loved. NFS most wanted in 2005 they would make it ACTUALLY sound like police communications on the radio, not like THIS piece of shit game where it sounds like dialogue from iCarly.
While doing the normal night races, get to heat level 4 or 5 (4 is a lot safer) like I did here. That's what multiplies your rep points earned . You saw how much I leveled up in this vid. And for money, I just do the newest races that show up. It's mainly just following the game. No tricks.
Need For Speed is very arcade. GRID 2019 is more of a serious racer with slight arcade handling characteristics. I personally enjoy playing NFS Heat more because of how much there is to do and I just personally prefer open world games
feel like they kinda dropped the ball, all they need to do was add in those zones to damage cop cars and it would've been cooler. Can't believe nfs mw 2005 is still loads more fun in cop chases.
@@JulesHunter22 For the next NFS game Heat 1 - Ford Police Interceptor Sedan Heat 2 - Ford Police Responder Heat 3 - Dodge Charger Heat 4 - Ford Mustang Heat 5 - Chevrolet Corvette Heat 6 - Ford GT
My biggest issue with this game is the traffic. Also the loosing the cops is more annyoing than fun because you really cant fight back. Cops health bars are to strong and it takes forever for the game to say, "ok your outrunning the cops with a fast car. We will back off" but its not like that, and it makes it anyoing.
Swell gameplay. Thinking about getting this. Is there any rubber banding? If so, how bad? I really liked Rivals and HP2, is it comparable to those? I can’t stand it when a Charger keeps pace catches a Lamborghini.
Since I played so much Need For Speed Rivals ( Is it wrong to say I liked it more than when I played Most Wanted?) I just go ham with the cops like I did in rivals and end up with critical damage in like 5 seconds, leads to some interesting chases tho
i really with the chopper did more like in most wanted 2005 , Hot pursuit, Rivals those where fun to dodge this chopper is like undercover only follows you
