it ISSS. why is it so hard to build on the good parts of a game. the cops in heat are lifeless ..the heat levels and escape meter are trash how they are built...its so sad..
Radio: "get ready to jump of the vehicle" (2 seconds laters) Radio: You know what we taken too much damage we pulling back to station. That line kill me.
Guys you are watching a piece of history, a piece of art. Something that will ALWAYS have a place in our harts. No NFS will be better than this one..... NEVER
I wish we a Civic Federal Cruiser, to bridge the gap between the Corvettes and the SUVs, heavier than than the Vettes, but not as heavy as the SUVs, faster than the State Muscles, and SUVs, but slower than the Federal Corvettes. A balanced pursuit vehicle effectively(Civic Federals will have front/rear bull bars, and much better tires to show their difference to normal Civic Cruisers).
@@matthewhull8282 yes I have an idea that you can add some additional data to the "pursuitlevels" node in VltEd. By adding COPMIDSIZE entry into the heat 3 and somehow you'll readjust the cop car's strength and mass. Yeah you can learn VltEd you'll find lots of fun there I've tweaked some of the pursuit "ferocities"
Actually, using the VltEd app isn't hard, your basic intuitions can guide you to use it. But you have to backup the GLOBAL folder in the game files since you may sometime later corrupt the game.
Great to see the best aspect of this game after not having played it for so long. This was a beautiful nostalgia trip, and I thank you for it! Might actually consider going back to play this in some form. I recently returned to NFS3:HP (my childhood favourite) though I do miss the thrill of Most Wanted's chases, the openness, and the huge car selection. Heck, the fact that Most Wanted had such a major improvement on the already great pursuits really says a lot about the care and dedication they put into it! Also interesting to see the unused heat levels in action. I'd heard about levels 7 and 8 before but didn't know they actually existed in some form. Weird seeing the helicopter swoop down to attack at later levels. I don't remember it doing that, so I can only assume it was scrapped for the core experience? Finalising it and adding it to Level 6 would have made that final chase all the more perfect!
@@darth_autie_117 lol I feel you. In NFS 2015, the most you get is like 3 cops on you which is pretty sad. In Payback, the cops will try harder to bust you, which is good, but they're only active when you do "challenges"
What if someone made a mod for this game that added baby strollers that appear during police chases, and if you run into them you instantly get maximum heat, with dialogue saying "He just ran through a baby stroller!"
"All units. Pursuit escalated to condition 5, repeat that is condition 5 over." *It's now in heat level 6 AND there are unused voice clips mentioning pursuit in condition 6 to 10*
The mistake was they pushed they’re luck, and eventually, reached a point where there was no escape when they had a few chances to make a getaway. Especially at the very end.
I honestly feel condition 8 should be the fed corvettes, suv's and marked corvettes then condition 9 should add the vics on top of the others then condition 10 all the cop cars
