with the DLC you get some drift tires, which, when you upgrade to pro, leave that smoke around. Also you get jump nitrous which also, when upgraded to pro, leaves smoke when you use it in mid air. It looks awesome when a lot of people use it in multiplayer :)

One thing I hate about most wanted 2012 is that the damage the police causes is worse than the one you cause, and 99% of the time they bust me I'm actually free and moving, they didn't immobilize me

I know you're supposed to use it in the air, but it doesn't seem to push the car farther in the air than if I had used powershot or burst before hitting the jump.

OMG, I miss tuners. I like super cars, but the only reason I got into Need for Speed was because of Fast and Furious. I feel like the developers should have kept Burnout out of my Need for Speed.

It's not based on your action. It's a dlc I think. They are called Drift Tires and whenever you drift, you leave a trail based on your car's colour. The dlc also comes with Jump Nitrous and if you get Pro and use it in the air, it leaves a trail based on your car's colour.

Nope, it's from the Terminal Velocity DLC. It just unlocks the airport in the map and gives you more cars, jump nitrous, and drift tires.
