i alway used handbrakes and slowed me down until i figured out that i can just press break (S key) multiple times and it will make the car turn no matter what speed :)

Awesome job with the perfect turbos.That had to take time,skill and really good eye coordination to see where you are going at high speed. I've gotten some good perfect turbos, but not like how you did. I really like Grand Tour it declares the battle between cops and racers, especially Zephry and F-8.
I tried this about 50 times with the Veneno but I am getting busted every time. In your video there no much cops chasing you, they hit me with ESP or ESF and get me. Any help?
because hes using nitro and turbo as much as possible without crashing.. after a while when you have maximum speed up no cops can catch you unless you drive into them.
OK(fair warning insane gamer rant inbound) at least there is 1 other person who understands my suffering. I am going to be blunt. FUCK. THIS. RACE. Fuck this race, the NOV racers are FUCKING ASSHATS, the cops are FUCKING TROLLS, because they leave spike strips right in your path especially when you need to repair right when you're going to die. I have spent 4 fucking hours trying to beat this goddamn race, but every time I get close to winning, the game just embisons me, (you know just says NOPE you dont win) and this just PISSES me off so bad I feel like I am going to have a goddamn rage induced fucking aneurysm because I have been trying for so goddamn LONG. I have actually rage quit twice because of this fucking race.WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO FUCKING GODDAMN HARD, EA?!?!?! *throws nfs rivals disc against the wall in rage*
Soulblighter116 I'm sorry but maybe you're just awful at driving ? I don't know but I have a cousin who is rookie at racing games and she got this race on her first try ever playing NFS Rivals and I set this race on cause she loves long races.
After the second try I got it , there was like 0.6 miles left when I went into so many spikes and got damage critical with no repair shops around ... Good thing I had my nitrous to boost me into the finish or I'd have to start over omg so happy

If anyone is struggling with this race, I suggest using a fully upgraded Ferrari Enzo Ferrari. The speed is decent and the durability is awesome. For pursuit tech I suggest stun mines and shockwave.
One of the rare few what can actually make a video of Nfs & actually be able to drive, and not use the wall as a braking system, nice to see a online video where someone can drive decent, good video mate and nice bit of driving technique 😃
Hi, I have gold everywhere on NFS - Hot pursuit and NFS - Rivals (and the platinum trophy for both of them), but on Hot Pursuit, there was a guy who I never could beat online. I think I never could send any weapon on him. Once, he just brake his car by hand and caught me, as we just pick a flower (not to say another thing). An insanely genius guy. I still remember his PS pseudo: LongHorn. I tried to add him as a friend to compare results, but he did not want a guy as weak as me, having had gold at Blast from the past in only 27th attempt... I later saw that it was a location name in NFS - 2015, and I wondered if it was not in the honour of this incredible guy. Now, I wonder if you are not him. If no, a play between you and him would be the most incredible play on NFS - Rivals.
The one thing that pisses me off about this race is the RNG of cops spawning in your path. Sometimes they spawn so close in front of you that you have absolutely no time to react, and are forced into a crash. My best time is 9:10, could’ve been a sub 8, but because of an rng cp spawn, I got yeeted off the road, screwing my turbo opportunity up. I still feel that 9:10 is respectable tho.
So I have been trying to get the world record for about half year now and I always thought it was the 7 minute record that I had to beat but I just did some reviewing and you are the only person that I have seen going down the list of records that aren’t using any hacks of some sort. (I don’t mean to sound like some 12 year old it is just what I observe.) So now knowing this is the legitimate score that I am aiming for I feel a lot better
Great gameplay! Lol cops spawning makes me crazy too, causing me at least one mistake/crash. Actually, I cant' go any faster than 9:23 in this event, even using Huayra, P1, or Koenigsegg one:1. But i'll keep practicing ;). I'm using K/B too, but prefer the inside camera.
Thanks for tip but I have tried everything and only manage to get too about 3 mile from the end before being busted. I have now given up and now play, Crew wild run which in my opinion is better. good luck with your gaming
I use the Enzo Ferrari with Shockwave and ESF to counter Incoming EMP. It took me 3 times usually no one will get it on the first attempt. I will upload the to show you it's much more exciting than this I like battling with the cops and other drivers he just jumped turbo at the beginning. NO FUN. Then again I was amazed at the time he completed the race.

Yea I realized the cops at the end on the race for the last 4 corners the cops get very aggressive made me so mad but I’m happy I eventually got to the end
This is my favorite Need For Speed game. I've played some other ones but, Rivals is my number one.Every time I play Rivals I try not to be cocky/talk shit about the cops when there chasing me.Cause if I do then I end up getting busted fast.And if I don't talk shit while there chasing me I end up escaping them with no problem.I love it when I start getting the heat level above 5 it makes it more interesting.When it's at heat level 10,then I prepare for whatever crap there going to give me to try to bust me.
I'm looking at this and all your game you are the driving master I use to be like you years ago I'm 38 now but work changed my gaming life any way I have this for p4 and I must say it's not as forgiving the way that you get close to cars and don't crash p4 wipe out every time very frustrating you got me back playing this game although it's kinda old now lol
I was surprisingly able to beat the race with a fully upgraded Aventador and I even did it first try. But it was honestly really intense and I was close to dying many times.
I agree the last 10 km are an absolute pain i was grinding this event and i only managed to do a 8:48 and a 8:30 the last 10 km are the main reason why this event is so hard

When you cross the finish line I'm pretty sure the game adds about 1/2 -3/4 of a second on to your time. Here it looks like you pass at 8.18.75 but it reads at 8.19.25. From my various tests, this is only apparent with the racer career, and the cop career reads times more accurately. Do you take that into account?
Enzo the most flexible car, king of handling. Huayra is fastest in top speed, accel and cornering. If you want to include strength and durability, it's F12.
I did the Grand Tour about 5 times cause I was bored and I got gold EVERY TIME. The car I used was the F12 Berlinetta, fully upgraded, with JAM and SHOCKWAVE. Grand Tour is really easy, you just have to go through the repair shops.
