Shift and Shift 2 have on of the most formidable cockpit camera view effects, because while watching this I'm getting really frighted at some driving situations.
There should still be a timer that shows how much time has elapsed on the current lap. The top speed is no issue though. I tried quicktuning a Zonda R and set the Acc/Speed slider to 25 (which is halfway between acceleration and the middle). My car then did a top speed of 303 kph (188 mph). Tuning the same slider up to 26 would make it go about 348 kph (216 mph).
HOLY FUCK THIS WAS EPIC IN FULLSCREEN, especially the straight away and seeing you master the corners with momentum! the only way this is possible(to the average gamer) is with a wheel.
@100mphDK the lead on commercial racing simulation actually belongs to Rfactor, a PC game. Consoles can't produce good simulations for obvious technical shortcomings and because the console audience doesn't want simulators.
damn! that zonda is so cool! i dint know that one of the zonda's meter gauge is on the steering whee;... btw how do u know when to break and and to let of go acceleration? so pro!
Best lap I have ever seen on this track and I have played them all! I KNOW IT'S A PADDLE SHIFTER...but....Now try the H-Shifter and let alone the clutch and you won't complete the track in half the time. Also...when posting a G25 Wheel video...Show the Wheel and a small split screen of you driving with the wheel for authenticity. Good Job!
The one on the car is kmp/h and the one on the hud is mph. You can change the hud one to kmh or mph, but the car's dash depends on what country it's from.
Seriously this game is like 10 times more immersive, stressful and fun to play than forza demo... The sounds, the noise, the cockpit mouvement, it's just better! You can feel the brute force. In forza, I felt nothing compare to this game
@maestrularmelor You really can drive like this in NFS shift, i mean i know your comment was 2 months ago but i have this game and a steering wheel set up and i drive like a suicidal adrenalin junkie in that game. Plus this car is just fantastically easy to drive
Nicejob, but I wonder if I could do as well as you with the same tuning settings... Plus I have a Logitech Momo which has much more resistance when turning than the G25.
just got this game yesterday for the 360. Still using controller and unless i have aids on its a mess. Should I shell out the cheese for the wheel and pedals? I'm assuming that makes a huge difference. Plus anyone know where there are some reliable car settings posted?
the laptime is 6:29 minutes. he starts at 4 seconds on the video and he ends at 6.33... so 6.33 - 0.04 = 6.29 for the lap. Thats a good time. I drive the murchielago in 6.50 1 lap.
you can't tune most of the tier 4 cars.Tier 1-max tuning tier 2-medium tuning tier 3-low tuning. You can Works update your car and that makes your car a fully racing car.
this is all nice, but in reality, not a single road-legal car, with the best drivers in the world was this fast on the 'ring. zonda R was recently tested, it did it in 6:47. there's a video on YT. so don't keep saying how realistic this game is :)
good god man that car is a fuckin rocket its nice to see other cars that are fast rather then lamborghinis or ferraris or that fuckin bugatti that shits been overplayed i like diversity
yes i agree you have not a setup.i tied time attack and i realise that you can't use your setup.now i am in tier 3 and i have not a zonda r but my lamborgini murcielago without works can reach 340 and with works 362
Not really you don't really need a steering wheel to play racing game. It doesn't make it easierr with a wheel. I'd prefer to use a controller. A Steering Whell just adds realism to the game
