Yea to be honest a lot of this is definitely excessive force. I recall one where player hid in a dumpster and cop car drove into it. I don’t remember if that ever happened but it was part of promotional material
Little something I just noticed. In 3:18, the car the player tries to steal is a K-9 car, and at the end when he gets T-boned you can hear barking. It's very likely the player got trapped in that car with a K-9 unit dog and that CANNOT end well for the poor bastard
I like to imagine the reason why the SWAT didn't just open the door and apprehend the player is because they know the player is in absolute hell inside. The guy kicking the car did it to agitate the dog even more
Fun fact:I used the starter car and Toyota Supra when I was chased by police so I don't lose my expensive cars Also I was leaving too for that (also let's give this man respect for sacrificing his cars for a video if that's him getting arrested)
lol same when I first saw this as I kid, I laughed so hard just because I thought I was really going to drive the police SUV cuz the player literally opened its door and I was like "OMG! he literally attempted to hijack the police car!!🤣🤣🤣🤣" and I can't stop laughing at that point as a kid 😅
Not to mention that it's ridiculous for the Protagonist like him to run despite that he's an undercover cop. But also the one who can drive a car close to the speed of sound. He had the balls to drive like a mad man. But can't have the balls to escape from the cops XD it's just to goofy for that type of busted scene. Including others like Most Wanted and Carbon.

One of the few things that disappointed me about Most Wanted was how tame the "busted" cutscenes were after the high-intensity chases - just the player avatar and one traffic cop, who usually wasn't particularly aggressive until provoked. These ones, one the other hand, really feel like they are they end of a dangerous high-speed pursuit: Everyone's adrenaline is high and the player avatar is still trying to escape.
3:00 damn, he john cena'd him xd. And that donut throw oh my god. These scenes are so damn brutal! And all scenes have some sort of unique aspect to it.
Player be like at police station: "Bro, ik we are supposed to have an act of you arresting me and all that, but why you need to be harsh geez, you broke my limbs"
I swear to god there's another arrest scene near the construction area in the main city. its like a small dirt road with a port a potty and two dumpsters. Its like your character actually hiding inside the dumpster when he's caught, and not just getting slammed off of it.
Yea i recall seing that in promotional material. If i recall correctly cop car drove into the dumpster to try to kill the suspect instead of arresting him. I may be misremembering

It's not that they didn't try it's that they couldn't. Allowed time + working on 2, 3 games just fucked em, something had to break and this was the chain that did sadly.

3:01 and 3:18 were 2 scenes that really stuck with my memory throughout the years. I don’t what it is about them but it’s something I just never forgot when playing as a kid. Especially when he attempts stealing a police car.
Agree, i remember playing it in 2009, and man those scene and the sensation that I was feeling in those moments, when I was kid, I was thinking that ( in the scene where the player want to steal the suv ) i will reach to steal it and continue the pursuit. HAHAHAHHAA but in the end I was so disappointed XD
3:28 I know the Swat SUV was disabled but what's with the dog barking and the player screaming. What happened to the SUV to cause the dog to possibly be attacking the player and possibly killing him or mauling him to death?
The dog wouldn't attack the player, because there is a cage 90% of the time between the seats. The dog is just agitated from being banged around I'd assume.
No one undercover busted scenes: get busted, try running away for .1 seconds get slammed into car try running again dog bites you in the area you fall goofy ahh cop pick you you up on heli then drops you back on to asphalt at 100 ft altitude then you get tazed get bit by dog again then get ran over by semi truck convoy get picked to be cuffed then to have your neck to be snapped and then tossed on 120 degree asphalt, swat team has to go they run you over in the swat car two cops start yeeting half ate donuts at you... remember your a cop
I used to got I arrested since Most Wanted 2005 beginning my first time on the cutscene. Then take my BMW away. Before they give it to Razor. Before I beat him Number 1 blacklist. I got my two cars. Including Mazda RX-7.
In fact there are 3 Pendulum songs here - Granite, The Tempest, 9000 Miles. NFS HP 2010/Remastered had just 1 - Watercolour. And this was the first and last time when Pendulum appeared sadly...
