Well, he didn't change the sounds of the 370Z/G35, he just added for extreme the unused nis_350z_c from NFS Carbon which comes from modified straight-piped 350Z.
If you want to have a real life engine sound without mod, do not upgrade the exhaust (like blueprint, cat back, etc.) because it will change the engine sound
You're right. You don't need a sound mod for this. You just don't upgrade the exhaust and engine. But not all cars have that real engine sound. Afaik 350z, Evo, RX7, Impreza, Civic, R34, Mustang.

The default sound of the R34 Skyline is already taken from 2F2F by Black Box. But if you want the better version you have to get the Grid 2 GIN variant.
Remastering means to polish the same game like adding redux mods to this game so instead you can get redux mods to improve the graphics. If you want to look different you mean by remaking the game on different engine cause the engine that NFS UG2 is on is too outdated to be improved (even with ray tracing). Also mods on Asseto Corsa do exist where you can play in Bayview with next gen graphics but I think it is WIP. I don't understand why DO people forget the 3rd NFS Underground - NFS Undergound Rivals. I know it is a PSP game but c'mon it is a mix of NFS UG1-2 but without a story. And techically NFS 2015 was kinda the remake of NFS Underground and Carbon combined. And PS5 just came and you are still talking about the PS4 when it came in 2013 lmao just get a PC instead to install mods (if you can afford it lmao). And about the sales I doubt it (if they do like NFS HP Remastered it will be the same). Despite NFS HP 2010 is the best selling NFS of the 2010 decade and 4th best selling NFS as you can see the Remastered version is no where near close so I recommend to keep your expectations LOW and you won't cry like a baby after that.
@@TheStreet13 Bruh he used the default sound which is the same one from 2F2F and Black Box. Black Box got this sound since NFS UG1 for ambience and cutscene and later they converted into GIN. It is not the only 2F2F sound that they have taken there are at least 2 others. Like the extreme WRX sound comes from Pierce's Eclipse and the one in the video I think it comes from Suki's S2000. Even in the files they are specifically said *2F2F*
The fact that the skyline is like a 1990s car is an amazing Factor. When thinking of supers and exotics. Those two words never really bring to mind what's still here today and whatnot.

Does it work on og nsfu? My nsfu2 doesn't open because it says for me to insert a second disc but my pc doesn't have a disc drive. If u know how to fix i will be happy. Otherwise i will try to put the sounds in nsfu1... Bye :D
The Sounds From All Cars Are Somewhat Similar To Prostreet's Cars. It's Kinda Obvious With The Skyline's, Civic's And Evo's Sound...The 350Z Sounds A Bit Original Than The Prostreet Version. While The RX-7 Is Near To An RX-8's Rotary Engine. All In All, A Good Mod For A Timeless Racing Game....
You just discoved the warm water (if you got the joke) and of course they are from NFS Pro Street (most of them). The modder used some from NFS Undercover/World, 2015 and even from FH4. And the 350Z is actually taken from NFS Carbon and it is an unused sound which if you have watched it on the bonus disk they took it from a white modified straight-piped 350Z and it is called nis_350z_c there. He showcased only the extreme upgrade sounds so here what he used: The Supra is using toy_supra_a from NFS Pro Street The Skyline - slightly tweaked the default sound (nis_sky_a) The 350Z - look up (but it is also tweaked) The RX-7 - maz_rx7_c from NFS Pro Street (same deal with the Skyline and the 350Z sound) The Civic - seems like the Honda_spliced one from NFS UG2 as street upgrade is changed to the extreme upgrade and maybe also tweaked again The Evo X - mit_evo9_a from NFS Pro Street.

If he used the GIN sound from Grid 2 you'll change your mind. And honestly if we could add engine sounds and better turbo sounds (sadly for now we can't but in the future might be possible who knows). Keep in mind this game is not like NFS Carbon to support engine and exhaust sounds.
Well, but ironically it is the GIN_Honda_S2000_spliced.gin but seems like this sound is recorded from the engine so that's why it is throaty compared to the other S2000 sounds in the game. Also I think this Honda S2000 sound is taken from 2F2F because the decceleration sound says 2F2F. And I think this sound was used for pro upgrade of the Civic but he change it to the extreme sound.

Lol you think it was easy to record sounds back in 2004? And honestly FH4 sounds aren't that bad as most people sure they are downgrade but there are games with far worse car sounds like the early Gran Turismos or the NFS before NFS UG2.
@@HeroManNick132 yeah back in 2004 maybe, but it's 2021 now. They're just lazy. If you go back to UG2 and listen to the original/stock car sounds, they sound miles better than what FH4 has. Some of the sounds in this video are just slightly altered versions of the sounds in the original game, like the skyline for example.
@@kikohogod5704 Don't forget that Black Box had to rip some sounds from 2F2F like the Skyline sound (it is not hidden that they took Brian's R34 sound from 2F2F and used it as ambient sound in NFS UG1 and in the cutscenes there) but it sounds more compressed cause you know the sounds had to be compressed and other part taken by the ABK sounds. And let's don't talk how the NFS before NFS Pro Street had really small sound memory that if you overload it might crash the game. The extreme upgraded WRX sound comes from Pierce's Eclipse and this Civic sound that is used by pro upgrade sound seems it is the GIN_Honda_S2000_spliced.gin which in the deccel sound says specifically 2F2F like the WRX sound but not the Skyline sound. I think this S2000 maybe is taken from Brian's Evo 7 (but still not sure from which car is taken) this S2000 sound. Possibly all the 5 S2000 sounds in the game are from 2F2F (even if don't say) But it is funny how the 2F2F producers put a 2JZ into this Skyline sound that is exactly the same as stock Supra from NFS Pro Street (even the Skyline there is mixed with this sound + this one) so Black Box tried to make like that but that changes in NFS UC but here in NFS UG2 is not noticeable. And honestly the Grid 2 sound is much better than this one if he used it will be nice. Many people ignore this factor but it is important cause the same exact sound in different games may sound completely different. For example if you port the Mazda RX-8's from NFS HP 2010 here for example you'll see how different will sound and it will sound like more aggressive maz_rx7_c (from NFS Pro Street). NFS UG2 had good way of processing the sounds (even better than NFS MW 2005) but slightly worse than NFS Carbon and Pro Street in my opinion. But it is funny how people don't realise that 98% of the cars sounds are shared with other cars or other upgrades and only the Subaru WRX and I think the stock and street Sentra are the only "unique" sounds which ironically the Sentra uses a sound from Mazda Familia (Protege) for stock and street while pro and extreme - the generic Chevy Cavalier sound.
But this game the real engine sound similar every NFS game in NFS underground 2 1. Toyota Supra The engine sound look like from the NFS mostwanted 2. Nissan Skyline Engine sounds like from the NFS Carbon and prostreet 3. Nissan 350 z So very satisfaying, the engine sounds look like From NFS Carbon, prostreet, payback and Heat. 4. Mazda RX-7 The engine sounds look like from the NFS Carbon game Kenji's It's commonly used. 5. Honda Civic The V-tec engine sounds that's was tuning more V-tec powerfully. 6. Mitsubishi Lancer Evo The engine sounds looks like similar from NFS most wanted,Carbon, Prostreet, Payback And Heat
Nah the Toyota Supra sound is actually from NFS Pro Street. NFS UG2/MW 2005/Carbon use 350Z and 300ZX sounds (second upgrade of the Supra in NFS MW 2005) which are mostly from NFS UG2. The Skyline is the stock sound (street Supra/IS300) just changed a bit. The 350Z sound is from NFS Carbon. The RX-7 sound is from NFS Pro Street. The Honda Civic sound is just the pro upgrade just changed a bit. The Evo 8 sound is from NFS Pro Street. He used some sounds from NFS World and NFS 2015 even from FH4 but not for these upgrades.
