Hey buddy, is it shifting properly? The only thing I could recommend is checking all of your ground points making sure you have good clean grounds on every ground point on that truck and I know you know where they are at and checking the harness coming from where it splits behind the intake by the distributor And goes down to your transmission make sure there isn’t any wires pinched or that has been hurt because somebody maybe put a transmission in at one time you could have a skin wire that has corrosion in it that is losing signal. I have seen this in the past, although it is not very common it is possible, but the first question is is it shifting properly?
@@TheHomeWrencher_1776 Yes it shifts perfect. I will check the grounds. Next thing I think it could be is the ECM, I will unplug the wiring harness and clean everything with CRC QD cleaner. I never had a transmission put in it. Thanks for your ideas.
Try changing out your other speed sensor. You mentioned your VSS sensor. Did you do the ISS or the oss the input or the output you got one speed sensor that goes to the transmission above the fill plug of the transfer case and then the other one should be under your or in your front driver side tire is your ABS speed sensor and that should really control those gauges that you're having problems with. In theory you know these two sensors work together so it's always a good idea to just replace them both. You like your original parts as we all do but I can get pretty expensive
