I just started needle felting and ordered this 'elf' kit. The focus has to be on learning techniques. I would not call these elves, although pointed ears and toes might lend to that label. These are just fancy gnomes by another name. Colors for the Top wool in the kit were very disappointing, There was a bright red, bright yellow and bright aqua Core colors. There are 6 different outer/Top colors. I made up the heather dull turquoise 'elf' and would not have chosen to include this color as one of the six. Sara is a good teacher. Her teaching videos are great. There seems enough wool to complete 6 items.
