Ong! I have one of those metal wheeled plant stands! I found mine on the curb at my retirement community! It was in the same shape as the one you found. Lol I painted it black and use it to display succulents I have planted in souvenir mugs, which I collect, that pertain to places I've traveled that are by the water...Hawaii, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Alaska, etc. The irony of the disparity (water vs. desert) makes me smile every day.

That was crazy! Great finds. Every where around where I live now is many miles apart so I've only found a couple places reasonably close. They're proud of every thing so no purchases yet. Working on relationships with the sellers so maybe I can get a bargain some day! Texas Deb 😊 ❤️

Whoa....that was like a wild Disney ride that would not stop!! My head is still spinning. So much stuff to look at. I have that double mushroom on the wooden base. If you look close, there are many holes on the top of the mushrooms. It is an hors doeuvre server. Toothpicks with cheese, etc would go into the holes. I filled the holes with wood putty, left the base wood tone and painted the mushrooms and stems. It came out really nice and is a great accent piece. Your son and his girlfriend found lots of nice pieces. It warms my heart to see young people interested in antiques today.😊 Thanks for sharing

I am pretty sure that last thing you showed is a wash tub. It is just awesome! I can think of so many things you could do with it. I would use it as an ice cooler for drinks; just add a galvanized liner and what a great conversation piece at your next party! In between parties, just fill the tub with plants. I just love following you on your treasure hunts! Thanks for sharing with us!

12:40 I don’t go to a lot of estate sales just because ours usually overprice items. I can find the same stuff at most thrift stores way cheaper. Not always but generally. You got a lot of good deals & wow they had a lot of stuff to choose from!

The wood piece that you paid 18 for is a butter churn base. The handle , inside paddles and cover is missing ❤ still a great primitive piece to decorate with

This is just a guess, but the sink could have been used for something like curing olives with the drain in the bottom like that. My grandparents cured olives in big 5-gallon buckets in the late 1990’s, before they passed away, but they talked about how olives were cured in the olden days.in something like that sink.

Estate sales in our surrounding small towns are priced pretty high so not usually huge crowds. I never buy anything until the 2nd, 3rd or 4th day because they have 50% and 75% off on those days. Then you can get some pretty good deals. They'll even make you a good deal to move stuff out.

My mama got into some fisticuffs with another lady over a cabbage patch doll! My mama won and it's mine now. I have the exact same metal cart with the wheel on one end. It's rusty crusty too and trying to decide if I should paint it or not. Thanks for sharing! 😊

I love estate sales, but why is there never any parking? Why is the house so small and overloaded with stuff? Why is there always a long driveway up a hill or down a hill? I like to buy vintage jewelry, but there is always a crowd. I don't do many estate sales anymore.... .

I went to our local antique mall today and thought of Chris! I found on of the Budweiser mirrors! It was different than the one he has, it was all in gold. It was $59.00, not sure if thats a good price or not. I think i would of been in trouble at that estate sale! Im surprised no one started a fight over some of that stuff!

We go to estate sales, and have gotten to know a couple of the companies people. But some people are crazy, grabbing stuff. If there is something we are there specifically for we ask where it is in the house/garage/basement so we can go straight to it.

I don’t blame you not trusting the hold table. I went to an estate sale, bought a side cabinet with long drawers, paid for it but it was too crowded to carry down the stairs. The estate people asked me to come back and put a sold sticker on it. Came back to pick up and it was gone. On top of that, the woman that took it, watched me pay for it, then brought them a tag from some little thing that said $15 and paid that for it. She had a couple friends with her and they got out. I heard the story from the lady collecting the payments. Some people are cut throats at these sales!

That's a bizarre story... If they know they sold it to a lady with a purple hat when the people come to pick it up it should go to the lady with the purple hat if they know they sold it to Bob Jones they should be able to say hey Bob show your ID or whatever it takes if they know they're holding on to it something's maybe the friends I thought that was their friend's item and they just accidentally took it it would be really ugly if they just took it on purpose

I am in Michigan too. I have found like every thing else it depends on which company is running the sale how it goes. There are some I won't attend because of who is running it. I have also helped run them with a friend in the business. I have noticed a big change in the last four years.

It's so funny, I find myself yelling at my monitor, "pick it up, pick it up, oh no". Maybe you should do a live when you go to an estate sale. I don't know it you can limit the number of people that would be able to join the channel but can you imagine, you shop and 20 people also have eyes on the sale. How funny, any way good sale.
