What kind of stitches do you use? I’m kinda new but I think I saw backstitch and simplified french knot. But I can’t tell what stitch you use for the majority of the portrait.

Hi, yes it’s not that easy to select colors. I use a lot of similar colors( those numbers in a sequel) and sometimes just have to try, if I don’t like it, I cut it out and redo.

Hello Tara, Thanks 🙏🏻 Mostly I use cotton embroidery stranded floss (DMC), sometimes I mix and use silk thread for small details. Glad that you like it. 😊
