awesome! Laying out all the pieces and pinning shows you the composition and makes sure your fabric choices are good and how well the pieces fit together. Way to go. Great inspiration.

So fun watching this video, Rachel 💜 I took a class at a quilting retreat in Kona, HI on Hawaiian quilt appliqué. It is also needle turn appliqué, fun when you get the hang of it! I might have to start a new little project 😉

Hello Rachel, It is lovely to hear your voice!! I am machine working my applique on the BOM but when I needle turn I baste all my pieces together,

Hi Maree thank you for sharing! That’s a great idea, nothing will move that way! Some people use fabric glue too, I haven’t tried that. Machine appliquing is good too, much faster. So pleased to hear from you, it’s wonderful!😊
