I went down to Neely Henry lake on the Coosa River to fish a little tournament against some buddies the day before the FLW BFL tournament the next day on the lake! They were biting topwater really well! A buzzbait was a key player in the lineup! I caught some good ones and it was fun! I hope you enjoyed this video! God bless!

Here's a good tip for you Andrew. If you want to shake them off on a buzzbait just put a small chunk of worm over the hook point. Doesn't affect the bait at all and you can shake them off about 80% of the time

I was watching a Kyle Welcher video and he clips the hook off the buzzbait. So they miss it and sometimes you can return to fish. Not a bad idea but it’s always an option lol

You could cut the hook so not to catch them but that would also ruin a lure.

What time of year was this filmed? Super nice weather! You had some good ones, do you think shaken them off is beneficial in the long run, because while you are practicing the weather is good, the next day the weather could change & that would change how the fish bite plus the fishing pressure on tournament day, plus the fish may move, myself I don't see doing it!👍
