Wrong. Queta is a door stop. The NBA is ALL ABOUT CONTRACT STATUS. Queta has basically NONE. Kornet, if healthy, is the back-up center. And if Kornet goes down with injury, Queta will be allowed onto the court but he will just be relegated to being RW3.v2, (pigeon-holed into being a rim-runner.) His skills and talents are irrelevant. That's how the NBA operates. If you have contract status, then you get to play. If you have no contract status, and there is someone in front of you that does have contract status, you can't get on the court. If there is an injury to someone with contract status, and one does get onto the court without contract status, one has to "stand in the corner" while the players with contract status glean all the stats. People are SO STUPID AND HAVE ZERO RECOLLECTION OF HISTORY. Do you remember when Hayward and Irving got injured and basically a team laden with rookie contracts (Smart/Rozier/JB/JT) went on an amazing run to the EC finals? EVERYONE WAS EXCITED TO SEE THE KIDS IN ACTION. But what happened AS SOON as Irving came back from injury? Irving MADE ALL FOUR OF THOSE GUYS (GUYS WITH NO CONTRACT STATUS AT THAT TIME) LITERALLY "STAND IN THE CORNER" FOR THE ENTIRE NEXT SEASON. How did you miss this? Have you forgotten what happened? THAT'S HOW THE NBA OPERATES. IT'S IN THE UNION CONTRACT. So no matter how talented or skilled Queta actually is, the Celts have 230 MILLION DOLLARS IN PAYROLL THAT THOSE PLAYERS NEED TO JUSTIFY. THOSE PLAYERS ARE NOT GIVING QUETA, NOR ANY BENCHER, ANY OF THEIR MONEY (STATS). IT'S NOT "BASKETBALL". IT'S A UNION-BASED BUSINESS AND IT FOLLOWS A STRICT UNION CONTRACTUAL HEIRARCHY.
