According to ISPAD protocol.....in case of severe dehydration without shock we give NS 10_20ml/kg followed by .1 units insulin/kg/hr.. and in case of DKA with shock we first give bolus NS 20ml/kg and then repeat until circulation is restored...then we follow the same as we do for DKA without shock i.e: 10-20 ml/kg followed by insulin .1u/kg/hr.. Kindly correct ur answer...it's 20ml/kg followed by .1u insulin/kg/hr I want all the viewers to go through ISPAD protocol 2022

As per the latest ISPAD 2022 Guidelines.. "For children who are volume depleted but not in shock, volume expansion (resuscitation) should begin immediately with 0.9% saline, 10 to 20 ml/kg infused over 20-30 min to restore the peripheral circulation. If tissue perfusion is poor the initial fluid bolus volume should be 20 ml/kg.." In the given case scenario, as the child is not in shock and tissue perfusion is fine, we should initially give 10 ml / kg NS in the first HR f/b Insulin 0.1U/kg/hr

@@meenakshibothragupta1962 when there is 10_20ml/kg...why not 20 ,, why to stick to 10 only...child's age was 10yr with weight 30 kg...and pH was 7.1

@@meenakshibothragupta1962 i want to add one more point..as per ISPAD protocol, when there is moderate to severe dehydration we should give 10_20 ml/kg...so if we give 10 ml/kg here in severe dehydration then what to give in moderate....lower than that???

Mam kindly do start early revision class for paediatric... Really useful for inicet... So much of confusions regarding neet... Need your guidance for inicet to do it better than Neet PG... Hoping for that only... Really your online help me lot...

In question 6 blindness was also mentioned. In question 5 age of the child was 15 or 16 years .

Ma'am, in question 19 the other option was Factor 11 and 12. Not 3 and 4.

14th question is the same image asked in the exam?.i think the image asked had some gap in the bone..some one pls reply

14 question and the image was different and they mentioned the swelling was present since birth and it's persistent since birth..

I searched all over ma'am but couldn't find ..but i still remember the lines because i read some 6-8 times .. swelling was present since birth .. hematoma forms after some hours know ma'am
