Awesome Episode :) If Govt comes forward and regulates every industry India ll be a better place. Govt Should list out prohibited substances and fix max price and minimum quantity for every different type of food and introduce fines, things would get better. Impart health & safety along with hygeine regulations to make food better. After all food is the most basic for a human being
Another reason why ppl dont complain is that - complainant might get "additional flavour" next time when the complainant comes to the restaurant again.... LOL!!! it is funny, but thats the truth.....

Well, its a nice topic. First, i really appreciate about we should bring our tamil foods in restaurants. Second, bangalore food cost is costlier than chennai (If you have food in local restaurants). The people who lived in bangalore knows very well about that. Third, ask these same people- how many of them had food in Amma Unavagam till now? If they had how many times? Definaitely it wont be more than a time or not. Because they love to show their image of having a food in bigger restaurant. So, Gopi, before talking about something do all the necessary research about all areas n do it. A question for you n Araadh- Have you ever tried food in Amma Unavagam? Lot was discussed on Dosa & Briyani. Well not a single word came up about MNC food chains say KFC or big hotels like "Nalla's Appa Kadai". Probably Gopinath was instructed not to mention those chains because Vijay TV would lose its ad revenues. Again hoteliers you should have talked about growing real estate square feet based rental pricing and also compare them with KFC (A US Based take out joint) which charges 500 for dips bucket ,prices these Small and medium business hotels charges are very reasonable. I still respect hoteliers because they don't cheat their customers, have rates printed on their menu cards and contribute taxes to the country's growth compared to govt servants who get paid by tax payers money and demanding bribes for regular job activities. People stop cribbing, be a global citizen and support your local biz.
Araath said perfectly : the growing gap between customer and hotel. Hotels should take in the suggestions from customers and evaluate whether it can be implemented. If they optimize their customer service & product, I am sure hotels can rake in profits. Reduce the hostility, see each other as people , engage in meaningful conversation and make the hotel a better place to eat.
