last week it was Oviya, this time Gopi himself played spoilsport. He clearly overstepping his boundaries treating some of the participants with contempt. portraying himself as a savior of women's rights he stepped into the boys vs girls debate unnecessarily. He cant thrust his views on others throats. As an anchor it is his duty to be neutral and treat the participants with respect even if they had different views. Change your attutude Gopi, dont let success go to your head. If u choose to ignore and continue like this, this may be the beginning of the end of Neeya Naana.

Gopinath, not even close. But in way I agree with him. Same mothers don't make that so called friendly talk with a girl child, but talk to male child. That means girls, parents of girls should safeguard against the boys. The mindset of the society is if something happens boys can walk away girls cannot. Gopinath is trying to point that. I respect him for that.
To understand the main phenomenal reason behind all of this, we need to take a look at the western culture who are well versed in dealing with relationships, breakups etc. In western countries children are given more freedom or the right amount of freedom as everyone deserves. They even make their born babies sleep in separate rooms. That way they grow up to making their own choices and facing the problems on their own. They have the freedom of making choices and learning from them. But when they hit rock bottom then the parents come in and take care of the situation advice them or in some cases the children are left on their own. But In India from a very long back time we were brought up in a dominated surrounding. Women were not given an equal place in society. Children were made to do exactly as their elders wished. People back then were not used to having freedom of choice. Our parents were allowed only to do what their parents approved of. So they treat us the same way. But today's generation is evolving. They want to make their own choices and that cannot be accepted by some parents because they were not given such freedom when they were brought up. They expect their childern to marry who they approve of. Some parents shun love marriage while some don't.

Gopinath and Vijay TV views throws light at the bigger problem - status of women in the society. Only when men and women are treated equal can all these issues will be resolved. From the second a mother knows she is pregnant, women dream of a son a warrior, a hero to love and support her. Married Women you saw in the show are clearly living in a violent situation. Women do not get any love care or respect from husband or family. So, they rely on the son for emotional support ( who will love them and stand up for them). The show clearly showed that these women can be killed anyday due to husband's anger. Pity them do not Yell at them. You dont have the right to verbally abuse these women in a public arena. Finally I feel, if lovers had consensual sex in a relationship, their should be no guilt about it. Just move on. In my personal opinion, GUILT kills the life of men and women affecting their future relationship and marriage. In future, program director needs to do more research otherwise Good JOB !!! We all enjoy the show.

Gopinath should not take everything for granted just because he runs the show. Vijay TV should be responsible for what to air in public. All those mothers and sons are invited guests and they genuinely said what is in reality at the current living society. They should NOT be get yelled by the presenter. I love this show and will continue to watch as long as I can.
