Jordan Belfi's wife gave birth to his first born that the crew began their first day of production. Then, the entire crew suffered random setbacks from physical ailments, car accidents, and random power issues through the entire film shooting. Sean Patrick Flannery, who played Edward/ Nefarious, considered Nefarious to be among the top three films he was most proud of within his long film career.
