Hakenkreuz = Haken + kreuz = Hooked cross Swastika = Swasti + ka = She who is good (The original Sanskrit term स्वस्तिक is phonetically written as ‘Swastik’, which means “that which is good”. The word ‘Swasti’ in turn is a combination of the words ‘Su’ (good) & ‘asti’ (is). Always keep in mind that these are poor translations. When you see translation of Sanskrit words into English, they are almost always subpar- and they never really describe the essence of the words.) Why on earth did James Murphy pick out an obscure Sanskrit word as the English equivalent of the word ‘Hakenkreuz, when ‘hooked cross’ was right there? Perhaps, as a former priest- he did not want to associate Christianity with Nazism? Even in 1934-38. When he translated Mein Kampf into English, Murphy was not a fan of the Nazis. @@Adi_Anant_Narayan Hooked Cross had been a sacred symbol of Christianity since its inception in ancient days and it is very natural to find Hooked Cross symbols in old churches and chapels. After hitler got unpopular, they conveniently associated Hitler's symbol to Swastika.

@@Adi_Anant_Narayan for me old Ramayan is the Ramanand Sagar one. That was the first Ramayan ever to be televised which made Arun Govil famous. Anything after that is new. Also, Siya ke RAM focuses on Sita a lot more than in the original Ramayans.

They already reacted to Mahabharata and Ramayana.

At first even I used to think siya ke ram is not good by reading people's opinions online but when I started watching it I felt it was one of the best Ramayans created till now!
