It would have been great if whenever a band released a single, it's B side would have been the negative harmony version. It opens up another world of harmonies.
@@claesvanoldenphatt9972 because humans are insatiable consumers, they can't stop devouring other's ideas while they have a mind to process/imagine all the possible outcomes. Because materialising a person's ideas looks like it makes the idea valuable in real life but at the end it's just an another dust grain in the storm. I'm not an anti-consumer kind of jerk but I'm really tired about people's lack of knowledge when it comes to their own potential and creativity and all the industries made by humans consuming this error and now everybody crying for something new, solutions. It's like an endless loop in art which will never end unless people realize their own potential completely and cure their own hunger.
@@f.jideament i once read something about original ideas not being there since everyone uses parts of older ideas or stuff they already picked up somewhere in their life. idk if it's fully true since i had "ideas" wich when u googled had absolutely no results
You ever thought about making a tutorial video on how you make your songs? There are a lot of conflicting videos on negative harmony, but your covers seem to always get the best results.
Negative Harmony is where you play the opposite note in the circle of fifths, left end of the circle is the darker side. Right side is brighter, which gives you this effect if you were to go the exact opposite
Some of these songs keep their theme, others turn around in one way or another. This is a "another". I love to hear all this music for the first time - for the second time.
TL;DR: No, I didn't joke. I'm a film major. Guess how often I get "what, you don't know that movie/actor/director??". There is so much media out there, you can't possibly know it all. I'm just appreciating that I found out about a new song by Depeche Mode the day I stumbled across this video. Just to make my point: Do you know the song Sepän Poika by a group called Värttinä by chance? If not, you should definitely check it out. Or to be less obscure let's use a song that basically everyone knows: Blue Lagoon by MATSUDA Seiko. Do you know it? Basically everyone growing up in Japan knows this song. @@plutostube
What a wonderfully bizarre and interesting concept. I love the original of this, but it seems a little empty in comparison to this 'twist'. Sometimes RU-vid's random recommendations are amazing. Great find, will listen and explore further. 👍🏻
It still sounds as beautiful as the usual Depeche Mode. I mean, if you listen to Smells like teen spirit, or wonderwall, in negative Harmon y, it sounds like music from other bands than Nirvana, or Oasis. But in this case, is still DM. I enjoyed it a lot.
It's a cool idea,.. if I can find the isolated vocal, the rap portion could stay the same, only the melodic chorus would need to be melodyned or resung
This is a version of enjoy the silence in which it was released in 2006 by an obscure emo indie band of that era in which it was heavily influenced by music from the 80s
Depeche Mode - Despise the Noise Words of gentleness Repair the noise Go accomplishe Out of my big world Blissfull to you Evert left out you Can I understand? Oh, your big boy Nothing you ever wanted Nothing you ever needed Isn’t there out of your arms Words are rarely necessary We can only do good Vows aren’t spoken To be fixed Feelings are mild Words are important Pains doesn’t remain So doesn’t the pleasure Words are meaningful And unforgettable Nothing you ever wanted Nothing you ever needed Isn’t there out of your arms Words are rarely necessary We can only do good Nothing you ever wanted Nothing you ever needed Isn’t there out of your arms Words are rarely necessary We can only do good Nothing you ever wanted Nothing you ever needed Isn’t there out of your arms Words are rarely necessary We can only do good
@@isolar_THE_576th Someone make a Sonic CD mod based on this.. This song being for Quartz Quadrant. It reminds me of the US version. World in My Eyes should either be Wacky Workbench or Metallic Madness.
Original was i vi VI verses and iv VI i III iv VI i #VII corus, so these are I III iv verses and V iii I vi V iii I bii chorus. Strange use of Neapolitan chord, however.
