OMG, seeing her muzzled at the end broke my heart. What a beautiful free spirited dog. Bless this family for rescuing her and giving her so many good times!
there are fields where you can hire the space for a private play popping up all over the country now it seems although it is not the same as running on the beach of course
Heartbreaking that she can’t enjoy her life as she loves but she’s a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul and it’s very obvious that she’s loved beyond measure ♥️
Such a beautiful dog. Brings me to tears that she has to be muzzled. Please all in the UK get together and get the laws changed. And stiffer penalties for the credence who turn these lovely lovely animals in the wrong direction. ❤️✌️🇨🇦🥺❤️
And I’m sureif you asked all the owners of these dogs who have killed people before they killed someone, they would have said “mu dog wouldn’t hurt a fly.
@@I_SuperHiro_I I never said you were a moron though that comment shows you are. How do you know those dogs weren’t trained? You don’t. Do you refuse to wear a seat belt in car? Do you drink or take drugs and rive a car? Some people think those laws should be ignored and treated with distain. No you don’t ignore laws you don’t like. Then again what can be expected from someone hiding behind a pseudonym spouting shite on RU-vid.
Bad dogs don't exist. Bad owners do. If a dog is "bad", there's always a reason behind it. Animals are like a person, they can have trauma and thank to this channel I can see that doesn't stop some generous and noble souls to love them and care for them 💜🙏✨
Bad dogs do exist it's just genetics & how their Brain is wired, there is a reason the Cordoba fighting dog was that unstable & eventually could not bred with any one with trying to unalive each other...because of its genetics, herding dogs herd, retrievers retrieve etc etc.
🤧 aww she's so gorgeous, bless you for saving her and giving her a terrific forever home. It's very sad about the muzzle, and a lot of very good owners and their dogs are paying the price for the idiot owners. There's never a bad dog, but bad owners. Cracking good video thanks for sharing 🖤😎👍
American pit bulls are so maligned and from what I’ve seen on these videos over the past few years, I feel the problems are with the owners and not the dogs. This lovely girl is just that . A sweet and intuitive dog that knows how to behave with people and dogs. I love tat she is quiet and calm around their son.I had a lad with austism who was terrified of dogs due to an earlier experience and he wouldn’t come out to the patio of into a room if my tiny chihuahua wasn’t picked up by me. I’m sad he had this experience as a dog is such a great companion especially for those with autism who often have difficulties with making friends etc. Thank you to the couple that took this precious girl in. ❤❤❤
Reenie is a beautiful dog and she's so playful. It's so cute to see her snoring in her sleep. Thank you so much for adopting this sweet soul. She was having so much fun at the beach and now she looks so sad having to wear a muzzle. ♥♥
Its unfair that many dogs get punished for the actions of some very irresponsible humans but the muzzle is at least an opportunity to have unfairly treated doggies still around with us.
Oh my goodness she’s so beautiful. What a sweetheart you’ll have to find another place for her to run like that where she doesn’t have to wear a muzzle which is ridiculous. What a ridiculous muzzle but she is one happy dog. She sure loves y’all. She is one happy dog. Wow such a beautiful dog. Glad you gave her a good life, she sure deserves it. She’s awesome.🥰💕💕💕💕💕💕
I was attacked by a couple of Labs. They were untrained, and part of a pack of four that my neighbor had. They literally busted out their front door, and came after me and my dog. In trying to protect my 25 lb. mutt, the dogs latched onto my arm and hand. Of course, Animal Control was called, and the two dog were, eventually, confiscated. One had to actually be euthanized, the other was rehomed (so I was told). And these are a supposed "soft breed" that is used as service dogs, therapy dogs, etc. So, why weren't THEY muzzled in public. The owner's reaction? They just went out and got two more dogs, and they ignore them, too. So, they have made their own pack, again. When I see this sweet puppers being punished because other dogs had bad owners, it just makes me mad! She doesn't deserve any of it! If anything, they should take it on a case-by-case basis.
The most beautiful girl! She is so loving. And she loves her family and getting loved in return. Such a gem. I'm sorry that this ban had to come and take some of her joy! ❤🐾❤️🐾❤️
So sorry for Reenie about the muzzle requirement. I wish she could get a certification of "non-aggressive banned breed" so that she could get exception from the muzzling in public requirement. But, I am So Glad you found her and she found you and your lovely, youthful family! 💓 TYSM
In my city those dogs are totally banned,it makes me sick..peoples prejudices and those who have no clue are running the country here in the USA and it appears in the UK. PREJUDICE IS WRONG WEATHER ITS ABOUT PEOPLE OR ANIMALS. TO QUOTE A WINDOW STICKER..."BAN STUPID PEOPLE NOT THE BREED".
@@gudat74 It's not prejudice when a certain breed can turn on it's loved owner, without blinking an eye. Or, when a pit bull breed is the majority that kills & maims people. I wish the U.S. had the same laws as the U.K.!
@@merrywhiterosethat’s literally never without cause dude. They are the most abused breed usually in cases of abuse forced to be the protector of the property and violently so through harmful training and similar for dog fighting. The only reason there are/ seem to be higher rates is they have the sauce, strength, and trainability those types like and can use to shape them, and the media only pushes dog attack stories about pits but there are dozens upon dozens of stories of a golden retriever or black labs, ect. But right now they have it out for pitties, just like they did for rotties, and GSDs, and Dobermans in the past. Every time they are proven wrong but it gets views up bevy it makes propel scared. It’s bad ownership and they may take away those dogs that those owner had but still allow them to get dogs and the cycle repeats. THAT is the issue. That’s it’s not really punishable and that you need mountains of evidence and the right kind of law enforcement involved to do anything makes it impossible to actually deal with the root issue.
If no one is on the beach just let her run around and have her freedom back. UK resident here and she wouldn't bother me, you're obviously a very responsible owner. She's BEAUTIFUL!
You don't represent everyone and folks with dog anxieties deserve the beach more than any pet or rescue. In general people with higher anxiety, nothing to even do with a dog, are usually detected and set-upon by some dogs (happily or not) which is unacceptable as well. Unleashed dogs can be hard for wild animals and birds, a forester has the right to shoot a dog or cat attacking wildlife in most places. In some parts of the EU you can get a licence to be lead-free, but it hinges on being able to call your dog and can be taken away if the dog doesn't come when called in front of an officer. Personally, I don't mind a dog off-lead when it is well trained. But when it does not come when called, or growls at me, that means the owner is a bad owner for having it off leash.
@@jesipohl6717 All valid points. We all deserve the beach just as much as each other, human or canine. I find it a joy to interact with loopy dogs on the beach, albeit my anxiety isn't about dogs (humans are much worse). It's such a shame when humans fail their dogs then the animals get the blame. I've personally stood down aggressive dogs so I get where you're coming from.
Having had two dogs on the lead suddenly attacked by dogs off the lead, I am definitely on the side of caution. Ironically, the one that did the most damage (ripped my dog's throat out. I'm not exaggerating) was a black lab. She'd just been playing with a rottweiler friend (my dogs have always been greyhounds, so they stay on the lead in public) who was unleashed and unmuzzled - this was in the early '90s when rotties were just being rehabilitated in the public consciousness - and who wouldn't hurt a fly. Then we went off for our normal route when this lab came out of nowhere and attacked her. My other dog helped see it off but there was blood pouring out of her throat. Mercifully I was close to a pet shop run by a friend and she shut up shop and drove us to the vet. It was touch and go but she made it. Fortunately the vet was a specialist greyhound vet, but that meant I ended up with another hound as a result. The hound equivalent of the cat distribution system (the GDS is how I got the one who was attacked...) Not that I minded, he was a gent. Always better to be safe than sorry. Had I been walking with my husband, one of us would have stayed behind and ensured the lab was put down. It was crazy!
Unfortunately, if someone sees her w/o muzzle, even when she's done nothing wrong, she could be impounded or worse. Really, collar and leash laws (along w/mandatory spay/neuter) need to be enforced all around and everywhere, except in designated areas or times. The problem in the UK seems to be w/breeders and owners of giant XL bullies (literally), bred for size and threat. It's these people who should be fined and punished, not dogs like Reenie.
Problem with that is if one of the no good Karen's on the planet sees her and reports her, she's likely to be taken away, even if she had done nothing wrong
If they are going to muzzle a breed in public, then they should supply those sweet things with their own public space (and beach). And you wonder why they get an attitude. The sweetest dog i ever met was a huge pit bull that walked into mah garage around midnight. As we stood there in a stand-off, i asked her, "What are you doing it this late all by yourself?" With that, she melted a tinkled on the garage floor. She wiggled over to me and snuggled up. I found her owner (new folks in the neighborhood) and took her home. She was soooo sweet. She just wanted someone to help her get home. Ours is absolutely beautiful with an adorable attitude. We're sending hugs. ❤❤❤
Sadly you are incorrect. Because of bad dog owners more people were killed in the UK after being attacked by an XL Bully than have been killed by a firearm in 2023! This in a country where 99.9% of the population has no access to firearms. But until 10th Jan 2024 anyone could have a dangerous out of control Bully type dog.
So sad , people literally don't understand 😢 it makes me wanna scream there not bad dogs at all . One day I would love to see majority people accept bully breeds and understand there sweet dogs . ❤
@@jeremymerrifield7244 There are 'violent' dogs of every breed, even other large and powerful breeds, but it's always the bully-breeds that get the stigma.
This is a very adorable doggy, full of empathy and love…as to be seen in the video. But - it is a very big and muscular dog - other than a poodle or wiener dog. It breaks my heart to see especially her with a muzzle - but people often are scared especially by this kind of dog. If a poodle or wiener dog is in a bad mood - which can happen to all animals and humans - and if they then bite due to the short bad mood - nothing will happen, there will be no real need for surgery. But if a dog like this one once is in a bad mood a bite will cause enormous harm to the dog or human being involved. I `m pretty sure, that you are a good mother to your beloved doggy and he will not be aggressive or something like that. And for sure you will make his life great at home, in your garden or somewhere else. You truly deserve each other, God bless you! (sorry for bad language, i `m not a native speaker….but interested in all dogs, especially in those lovely ones!)
I had one just like her, a captive breeder. Once free of that she became the best dog ever, I named her Sweetie, because that’s what she was, a sweetie.
The most important and beautiful thing here is that Reenie was SAVED! On top of that she is LOVED by those who SAVED HER! Yes the muzzle thing sucks..some breeds get a hard time because of the wrong buzzholes who were stupid n careless..but no matter now! U saved her now She’s your Princess and no muzzle is necessary at home right?!?
If she is required to always be muzzled and on a lead ALL dogs should be required to be also!!! She is a beautiful lovely pupper. Thank you for saving and loving her!
when they bite its not their fault its whoever has them that are abusive to them and they react to things, they dont know better bully breeds for me they have got to be the SWEETEST dogs I have EVER owned i have 5 now and they LOVE everyone every dog, they NEVER bit anything but toys, just the sweetest if you give them love protection play socialize with other animals and people they will never EVER be mean or bite YOU should try and ave the owners be the ones who pay for some tragedies not the dog, its never the dogs fault not in my experience with them
What a shame to muzzle an animal that’s done no wrong. I think the authorities need to be muzzled. You can see the difference in her spirit with/without the muzzle. Thank you for the rescue and share! She’s beautiful! 🐾💖🐾
I have that ‘starting to cry feeling’ about the muzzle. That’s so unfair. In my area we have a we have a policy of losing my dog on the first offense. That is always on my mind. All my love to your happy dog
