I wish op had written the post better so all those people would have turned against her parents. I wish all that support for her parents were taken away. She should've mentioned the abandonment until her parents were the last choice, how they neglected her, how her grandparents were even disappointed in her parents, and how those angry at her never even helped her as a child. Shame them all.

I absolutely would've aired out how the parents had treated her like an obligation than a child, and that she had been in the care of her grandparents until their deaths despite the parents being settled in the hometown with the funds and space to take care of her. Would've laid out how the parents expected a handout versus making op an investor or something of the sort, just to enjoy the thought of all the parents' friends realizing that they aren't good people.

Doesn't sound like they wanted their child to take the risk, it sounded like they wanted free money. There was no talk of ever returning the money so it was a demand the OP give them all their money, not lend it to them. They had no intention of returning it, so there was no risk, as it was basically a 100% chance of loss for the OP.

The fact that the OP’s parents had the audacity to make her choose between her giving them the trust fund or she leaves their lives is so cruel. They can’t just drop her off with her grandparents for a few years and then go into her life when she has a trust fund that her grandparents gave her. She made the right choice by leaving and not giving the trust fund to her parents.

No, it's actually the best idea to at least give the son something because it significantly weakens any legal contests to the will. If you have a really one-sided will, the odds of it being successfully contested are much higher.

They aren't parents. 1 is an egg donor and the other is a sperm donor. Parents do more than just birth you.they're supposed to raise you, teach you, comfort you, support you, encourage you, love you. The egg donor and sperm donor did none of that.

The third update was weeks after Edit: ah, yeah, she finalised on the second update. Because while some of the stories on this channel are real a lot of them are AI bullshit, like this one.
