Kwame, just found your channel. This video is both instructional and entertaining. Great job. I'll subscribing to your channel and will look for more of your content on negotiation skills and conflict management.
I enjoyed your analysis. S3 Ep10 ( the director conclusion) has more interesting negotiation with a shadow government. I hope to see another reactions.
I enjoyed your video I enjoyed the cat and mouse aspect in the negotiation. He could have put the glass of water on the table at anytime as the big reveal-but the opposing party had to first be exposed (which no company caught doing wrong likes) and then backed into the corner- Then he first stripped away their denial argument and credibility. He also has an outraged witness to the deprivation and death caused by the company. Being caught and guilty their decision was to throw money at the problem- the quick solution but the company doesn’t want to stop making their exceedingly exorbitant profits. Then he offered their only solution and only way out. Then he offered them a glass of their own poison- do it my way or die.
There's what I call who's the punk I didn't see this much here there was power plays but not to the degree it could be he could have said I want you to take your pipeline and run like a B word instead he talked about someone else's want he didn't even technically tell them to leave he just told them of the position of the people he represented. That would have made it who's the punk people can sometimes avoid being a punk stubbornly even if it leaves them worse off than backing down. Also how likely are people to refuse an at the steps deal just as a stuff you for waiting for that point?
This was interesting. Should probably try to react to actual negotiations, imo. You were basically critiquing a group of people that wrote James' lines. As well as, James' portrayal of the character, Red. An ex-military intelligence officer, who went rogue, stealing a bunch of classified materials. It's kool, and all, but still just a filmed, scene from a television show. All the context, was imagined.
