im at 125/145 for my own 5* Negotiator. Man, o man! Wow this video is great, I got 1st in my fleet shard today with a 6* negotiator vs a 7* today, and this guy basically stays in 1st all day his fleet is so strong. Thank you!
just a quick heads up.... if u target your opponents ht with your very first 5s basic at the beginning of the match.... your anakin will always be able to use his aoe on the opponents anakin to put buff immunity before the opponent's ht taunts.

Thank you very much. I am not in a situation where I have a mirror fleet but a weaker 5's and a 6* Negotiator with R7 Anakin, Bossk, and GK. I was wondering why I was getting completely killed by fleets with weaker teams (except for 5's and the 7* Negotiator) and it all comes down to Valor. Great tutorial.
Thank you very much for the in-depth strategy, same as others you made my mirror match underdog climbing more consistent now. Could you also do one against the anakin/BTL/rex line up with just the standard HT/anakin/fives?
@@Bitdynasty Perfect, lol wish I saw that last night, but thanks to your explanation and key strategy on delaying the AOE, i was able to pull off a win with a 6 star negotiator who would normally never out run opponent's negotiator anyway.
I think you have your setup well figured out, but because my same starting 3 don't give my Anakin the chance to go before their HT & plant buff immunity on their Anakin, I'm better of waiting until their HT taunts (lower tenacity), putting buff immunity on their HT and going after it early, even with Negotiator's AoE when it's ready.
Yes I hate RNG so much in negos mirror. I usually have a hard time beating 7* nego because my nego is 6* . I always use AoE first after enemy nego AoE first. I will your strategy today. My current lineup is ahsoka ani HT. Will change it to 5s
Another great strategy guide! I think your guides are probably the best out there. Has your advice changed since March? I run Negotiator, but I don't use 'Tooth anymore, reason being the extra 15% H/P to Y-Wing for all G.R. allies. Is that what you're doing these days - or do you still use the Tooth?
Thanks for the kind comments. I don't use HT anymore as well, now that I finally have a 7* Y-wing :) I run all GR fleet now, but until you have 7* Y-wing it is still better to use HT from my experience.
Yeah, a guildmate of mine was saying that < 7* Y-Wing was fine, but I found I couldn't go Toothless until mine was 7*. Luckily that's been a few months now. This video (and your other Nego videos) will help me fine-tune things and perhaps lose less. Like you said - lots of coin tosses because of equal speeds.

Does your strategy change if the enemy calls in 7* Y-Wings instead of SGT? My JKA keeps getting killed by Y-wing or someone else shortly after that happens
Yes, Y-wing does change it a bit... What I do is, when my Negotiator gets its first turn, if my Ani still has Unending Loyalty I use the mass attack first. But if Ani lost unending loyalty, then I reapply it with Negotiator as its first move. In that case your Ani will not get sniped by Y-wing.
This doesn’t work for me when the opponent pulls in BTL Y-wing. They take out Anakin way too fast and I am getting a ton of resists from opponents Anakin on Buff immunity.... and then more RNG fail when Kenobi aoe doesn’t proc Target Lock. Lost three matches in a row today.

I think that bug can happen on any ship, I have seen it happen with Ahsoka as well as Fives. I think it occurs if you clear their undending loyalty, and if it gets reapplied before they take a turn. Then it's stuck... With this strategy it rarely happens to me.
My total power for the Negotiator team 534k General Kenobi R7 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods with Upgrade boost x5) Hound's Tooth R7 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods with Upgrade boost x4) Umbaran Starfighter R7 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods with Upgrade boost X1) Anakin ETA2 Starfighter R7 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods with Upgrade boost X4) Plo Koon Jedi Starfighter R4 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods) Ahsoka Jedi Starfighter R17 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods) Clone Sergeant's Arc G12 (6 Maxed out Gold Mods) And I still don't win all the time. I get a 50/50 chance with mirror matches. I do have a Rex's Arc at R7. I wonder if I should replace the Hound's Tooth with Rex's Arc?
I have tried it several times but unfortunately this tactic does not work for me at all. I lost every single fight. It seems as if there has been changes. The sequence of turns is different. And also the buff and debuff applying always turns out different.
@@Bitdynasty Meanwhile it works better. Sometimes Anakin's AOE attack doesn't work. And the Y-Wing is a problem... In the beginning it worked 2/10. Now 6/10.
More often than not i found the fight didn't go the way it went in this video. 99% of fights hounds tooth taunted before aniken got his AOE, so it was rare i could ever put buff immunity on Aniken.
@@Bitdynasty VS enemy's with same line up, Anakin HT and Fives. I go first and hit offence down, they go and do aoe fives, then their HT taunts. TBH even if that happens your method does work nicely if your a patient person. a lot of pleyers in my shard have r7 HT
@@Spifflik Maybe R7 HT is just fast enough to overtake Anakin, will try and find an R7 HT somewhere, but most of them are R5 in my shard. Otherwise I am working on a new strategy for Negotiator mirror matches, just want to do more testing before I make a video :)
And how'd enemy Fives lose tm but go anyways after you opened on enemy Anakin in battle #1? You hit Anakin, and it appears on screen like Fives actually lost tm. 🤔
@@Bitdynasty By the way, does potency on Anakin have any bearing on Eta's ability to land buff immunity on enemies? Sometimes I try when they have no HT & I'm unable to land BI on enemy Anakin.
I don't seem to be able to get my Anakin to go before my enemy's Hound's Tooth taunts. My Anakin is much faster than HT, why is he consistently going before me? Relic 7 Eta & HT & Umbaran for me... #GettingStuckBehindHT'sTaunt
HT gains TM when not taunting when to you attack it's allies. Try to attack Ani with Fives basic, then when your HT gets a turn use his basic on attack on enemy HT so he doesn't gain more TM. This should allow you to plant buff immunity on enemy Ani.
@@Bitdynasty I'll keep it mind, but their HT keeps going before my Anakin after I damage their Ani with Fives basic (giving tm to enemy HT like you said). For some reason, even in your vid after you use Fives' basic on Ani which should give a lot of tm to enemy HT, YOU still get a chance with Ani to buff immunity their Ani. With me, their HT goes before my Ani & taunts making buff immunity on Anakin impossible. I have good mods, high relics-- not sure why your Ani outspeeds HT & mine doesn't. ?
@@dntgswgoh8052 RNG does play part for sure, but with this strategy the impact of RNG is reduced for me, maybe I lose 1 in 20 fights. However lately more and more people are using Ahsoka in starting line up and Y-wing as 1st reinforcement, so I am working on improving this strategy now, so stay tuned for the negotiator mirror matches 2.0 video :)
BitDynasty ok cool! Nice vid btw. I’m gonna 7* my nego at some point, it’ll reduce the rng factors for sure and it’ll be easier to mirror. I’m just hoping they don’t release the next meta capital ship yet because that would be bad for me! I also subbed because that guide was better than any other on RU-vid ;).
